Shared the meat-a-tarian for $33. Choice of two sides and three hush puppies. There were 6 amazing bbq sauces to try. I mixed Memphis mild, apple bourbon, and Carolina gold. Delicious. Cute decor, very clean, very nice people. Judy our waitress was precious.

Worth the Trip—Even from Hawaii
Visiting from Hawaii, and wow—this place blew me away! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was unforgettable. I had the pulled pork with grits, bacon, and BBQ beans—every bite was packed with flavor, and the sauces paired beautifully with the meat.
My wife ordered the half chicken with coleslaw and mac and cheese, and it was just as outstanding.
The only downside? We don’t live close enough to eat here more often!

I have used Pig & Grits as a catering service twice now, and they have done such a wonderful job that I felt I had to write a review to share my experience. The food is delivered fully prepared to make it as easy as possible for you when it arrives. They are incredibly thorough in ensuring you have everything you need; drinks, cups, utensils, serving tools, sauces, you name it. All the while you have delicious hot food that everyone at your event will love. You truly cannot beat the service they provide, all while in an incredibly reasonable price point. I would sincerely recommend reaching out to Pig & Grits catering team anytime you are planning an event, big or small.

Food was superb! I planned a picture but ate it all before I could get one haha. I highly recommend the apple bourbon burnt ends and the chicken sandwich with honey Sriracha sauce on it. It was soooo good! They have large portions so expect a good deal of food. The stuff donuts are good too if you like really sweet things.

Me and my wife went there today for lunch and this place once again absolutely killed it!
Drinks: Wifey had a Pepsi and I had their refreshing yet delicious Blackberry Lemonade. My lemonade was SO good, I actually ate some of the black berries at the bottom.
We started with their BBQ Street Corn and it was VERY good, after you get through most of the Cotija cheese creama, use their BAMA sauce the rest of the way, it’s SO good each order of it comes with 3 ear’s for $8. 10/10
Mine – Country Fried Steak in white gravy, with hush puppies, baked Mac & Cheese and BBQ Beans as the sides. 9/10
The country fried steak is very good, it’s exactly as you’d hope it tastes like, the gravy is good, very light on the pepper so it wasnt very flavorful BUT I highly recommend putting their South Carolina Gold BBQ sauce on it or the Memphis Sweet BBQ, it was a wild card idea that paid off. The hush puppies were good, great outer crunch to them, perfect to enjoy their bbq sauce spread a little at a time to see what your taste buds are in for. Their Baked Mac&Cheese was VERY good and pairs incredible well with their Blueberry Bourbon BBQ sauce and the BBQ beans are fantastic, superb flavor and smoky as the heart desired.
Wifey – Smoked Sausage with hush puppies, onion rings, and coleslaw. 8/10
The smoked sausage was very flavorful and the perfect amount of smokiness, a tiny bit of heat on it making it very yummy. The Cole slaw was delicious and a great palate cleanser between everything, the onion rings were very good, the breading was perfect, and the hush puppies were a great side snack with the rest of the goodies.
Desert – Fried Banana Pudding 8/10
It’s a good portion, the flavor was astounding, seemingly flash fried in a tortilla. 2 per order!
Atmosphere: 10/10
Very relaxed, welcoming, the staff was incredibly nice and very respectful and insanely clean including their bathroom.
Shouts to them you havnt gone, set aside time! You’ll LOVE it!

Awesome NC BBQ! Country Fried Steak is amazing. Brisket is perfectly smoked, tender, and crispy on the outside. Can’t go wrong with hush puppies, onion rings and fried green tomatoes. End the experience with the fried banana pudding! Megan is so hospitable!

We had a wonderful breakfast experience. The sweet tea was delicious and smooth. Chicken and biscuits with sausage gravy and eggs couldn’t have started the day off any better. Their grits are on point and I suggest you get them if you enjoy grits. The waffle was light and fluffy. It does have a sugar coating to it which caught us by surprise but still tasty. More like a dessert than a breakfast meal.
The staff was attentive and just as sweet as their tea. We were greeted with warm smiles and they were able to help Dizzy decide between the chicken and biscuits or waffles. She can be indecisive at times.
Please check them out! I’m sure we will be back to try other items when we visit in the future.

This was probably the best BBQ and brisket we have had. And the portion sizes are ridiculously huge! Whitney was our server and was amazing. All at a reasonable price. My daughter got the triple plate with burnt ends, ribs, and brisket and was in heaven.
We will definitely be back.
