Not totally sure how to accurately describe the food here. My breakfast burrito was fantastic and my wife got the French toast dish… ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR. I regret it didn’t get the smashburgers… they looked amazing.. but i only have so much room in my belly.

Great drinks and good service. Not much for atmosphere but the decor is nice enough.

Ola Brew is such a vibe! Absolutely loved both the food and the drinks, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The beers and cocktails were on point, and the food paired so well with them. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and makes it an amazing place to hang out with friends or just unwind.

Great beer here! We liked it so much that we came to this location two days in a row and then went to the one on Kailua-Kona the following weekend. The Likikoi IPA was tasty and the Vanilla Porter was delicious. The staff here were very friendly. The vibe is very cool, loved the large windows and lights. Perfect for a rainy evening but would be great with sun too.

This place rocked! Food and beer were excellent. Staff had great chemistry. Springrolls were amazing. We really enjoyed this place making a point to say amongst ourselves it is some of the best food and drink options and quality. The ice cream bar is excellent. We had banana ice cream and it was the best I’ve ever had. I mean, yum!

It is a brewery. It has excellent beer (at least the four we tried). We also had a very tasty boa bun with pork belly. If you like beer, go.

Smash burger was good as were the fries. Nice setting atmosphere and service. Wasn’t crazy about the beer. Taste not to my liking.

Great Brewpub in Hilo. If you are on this side of the island, definitely stop in. We did flights. My favorite was the Vanilla porter. Hers was orange vanilla seltzer. Colton had great recommendation for here and for our next stop….thank you!!!

We are mostly plant based. They have some good plant based options on the pupus and entrees.

Staff was all very friendly, prices were good for the island.

Fun fact: they get their vanilla from the Hawaii Vanilla Company. We did their tour earlier in the day…Go There for the lunch tour….great experience.

Once in awhile you’ll find a place that exceeds expectations. Add Ola Brew – Hilo to that short list! After I was picked up at BIG Hilo Airport I was famished and told my sista let’s get brunch!

Ola Brew has been on both of our lists for a while, even though I’ve had the beer on previous visits, it was always a can or bottle from KTA. On this late morning the planets aligned and Ola Brew it is! On a Sunday the posted hours say 11:00am open, however when we arrived a tad after 10:30am the doors were already open with customers inside. I should have confirmed, but I would guess the opening time is 10:00am-ish?

Upon entering we were warmly greeted and led to one of the high cafe tables. Each employee we encountered friendly with a calm vibe. I instantly fell in love with the natural light ambiance and high ceilings. The Sunday menu offered brunch so I opted for the ADOBO FRIED RICE OMELETTE
3 egg omelet filled with Adobo fried rice and topped with house-made Hollandaise ($18). Sis chose the AVOCADO TOAST served with hard boiled eggs and fries from the Keiki Menu ($12).

We each ordered FLIGHTS (chose four). I chose a combination of Beers and Hard Juices ($15 each).
I especially loved the Dragon Fruit Lemonade and the Luhia Pale Ale. Tita loved the Tangelo! I loved how the staff had no limit to combinations unlike other breweries. I also highly suggest you leave a choice for the friendly staff to pick for you.

The turnaround time was clockwork. Our brunch in front of us minutes after receiving our Flights. Oh my! The ADOBO FRIED RICE OMELETTE was beyond amazing with chunks of pork and well seasoned rice. Adult Sis enjoyed her Keiki meal and tho it’s listed as a kids meal… the serving was very generous and adults would be well fed!

In the end, I highly recommend Ola Brew – Hilo. Located in downtown Hilo it’s easy to find with plenty parking! Sista who lives in the area easily parked her Big Island Tita-lifted-Toyota-truck-with-fat-mud-tires into da stall lol! Chee hooo!:D

The food was great! But Zack kind of ruined the vibe, my wife misheard something he said, and he got really rude about it. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but it definitely made the experience worse.
