Came here on a Monday after seeing an IG live , was pleasantly surprised that instead of chips and salsa the waitresses brought us a chicken Fideo soup to snack on while we waited for our food. Ordered the menudo, it was ok, no pata no hominy, just meat. The huevos rancheros were not that great, very basic. This location looks like it can get poppin but nothing was so amazing that I make it a “must” return. I seen they had outdoor porta potty’s but didn’t get to see if they had indoor restrooms, they also charge for using your cards, not a big deal if the food would have been amazing! The carnita mixto tacos were too salty for my taste buds but my husband loved them. Happy eating folks!

Been coming here since they opened. Work took me out of the area for a bit. Came back and had missed it so much. Get the buche torta and use the salsa they provide. That and a cold beer you can’t go wrong.

Great spot for getting your Carnitas fix while in the South El Monte area for sure. If you plan on taking the family or larger group, get there early as they’re always busy and packed with customers. Also, if Michelada’s are your thing, once again this is your place.
