My daughter go there once a week. Lately, the food has been terrible. Raw fish, oysters that are not fresh. The service has been awful. I know other people who go there too, and their food was also terrible.
There is a bad smell in the bathrooms and the restaurant smells like sewage. This time I ordered oysters like I always do, and they were not fresh — I literally had to spit them out. I tried to speak with the manager, and they did not resolve anything. They told me to come back tomorrow to speak with the owner. Even worse, the manager provided no customer service and no solution.
This is extremely disappointing. You are not solving the problem and you will definitely lose customers. I do not recommend this place at all.I go there once a week. Food is mid they served us very RAW shrimp and service is terrible. Our waitress took our order and never came back, didn’t even deliver our food, she was having a time with coworkers and was on the phone the whole time. Bathrooms are sooo stinky and dirty.

I honestly don’t understand the good reviews for this place. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The spoon and plate they served me were visibly dirty, and the person who handed me my drink had dirty hands.The tostada de camarón also tasted off, and the food looked like it was thrown together with no care for presentation.After seeing the dirty utensils and the overall condition of the place (it also had a strong unpleasant smell), I asked them to cancel my food because I didn’t feel comfortable eating there. They still insisted I pay for the other plate.

One of the excellent sea food restaurant. Food was very tasty and served as hot. We ordered grilled Salmon plate and fried whole tilapia fish plate and the curry on the top of the fish. Wow both are so yummy. And the rice and garlic bread taste really good. Customer service was good. Affordable price for the quality of food. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Waiting time is there on the weekends. I would like to go every weekend.

This place is so good! The crab legs are some of the best I’ve ever had, the sauce they use is perfectly spicy and delicious. The shrimp empanadas are really fresh and tasty as well. If you like spicy fresh seafood, this place is the bomb. My partner ordered a ribeye steak and the chef came out and finished it on a salt block tableside, it was very tasty as well. The service was very friendly, the mariachi band was a bit loud but makes it a unique atmosphere.

Mariscos El Veneno is “La Bomba!” Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the experience. You’ll thank yourself and me!! The portions are huge. The prices are small. The food is absolutely delicious and extremely fresh. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Poor cleaning practices!! Mold everywhere. Please clean this place. Bleach is cheap. If there is mold obvious to the customers, I wonder what it looks back in the kitchen. Mold doesn’t happen in a week. This is several weeks of no cleaning or poor cleaning .
Also noticed servers cleaning tables and bring drinks and food out without washing their hands. That is cross contamination. Place need cleaning and a little remodeling to the Lorax area would hurt, but even if it’s not remodeled, definitely cleaning goes far ways.

Ok we are just leave this place totally disappointed.
We order a mojarra that was pass the flavor makes me felt likes vomits .. we didn’t ask to get a discount , we asked only to talk to the manager , the waitress said there was not any manager at the moment …we just wanted somebody to tried this so they could see , we were not lying about the flavor but we didn’t get any help. Be careful people that’s why maybe is call the poison because the customers can get food poisoning.

The place is great, the food and the service is good. But they do not clean their shrimp… We asked the server and she said that there’s nothing they can do and that’s how they serve their shrimp… I honestly don’t think that’s healthy and also it’s really gross!
