Hi ! We are so excited to make you burger happy ! We serve grass fed , hand pressed 1/3 lb beef on our burgers. All made with love. We have vegetarian option , gluten free , and carb free as well. The grilled chicken is phenomenal ( yes my opinion but supported by many ) We offer fresh salads and some pretty tasty sides Our garlic fries and hand dipped beer battered onion rings are top faves of our customers. We’ve been here in this 1940’s train caboose for 10 years now and love to see you at the window . I’m a local Sedro Woolley girl and my hubby ( he’s the guy doing all that great cooking ) he’s a transplant from Texas. (Been here many years)He loves great food and believes every burger should win a contest Come on over !!

Best burger & pickles, I’ve ever had & I’m from Wyoming y’all I’ve had some darn good burgers but this skagit western burger & pickle spears were spot on the money . I mean you can tell in the taste that they put a lot of pride & love in the food they serve .. Fantastic burgers, one of the top burgers in the valley. There’s only one other place that has a burger that rivals these is also almost twice the price.
All ingredients are very fresh, and the burgers are put together extremely well so that you can really taste every ingredient, and they are delicious. They are beautifully presented as well, every single time I get a burger here it is photo-worthy. Sides are all great as well.
On top of that, they have remained very affordable through the years. Burgers range from $9 to $10 or $11 and blow most $15+ burgers around here out of the water, and there is no other $10 burger in skagit County that can hope to compete.
My only very minor complaint is that you are pretty much always going to get a well-done patty. They’ll let you order it pink, but chances are that it will not be pink. Either way though, that’s really the only thing I can nitpick, and the patties are still delicious.
Also, do not show up expecting to be in and out super quickly. They are frequently very busy and cook everything to order. If you want to make a quick trip, try to call ahead.

I ordered garlic waffle fries, portion was so good for the money. Customer service was top notch. Only thing is i felt it was a bit oily for my needs. I understand all fries are fried duh ! But still couldnt eat more than 5 pieces. I would still love to try their veggie burger.

I’ll be honest: this place looks Sketchy in its tiny building along hwy 20.
But since it’s still in business and we often see a line, we figured maybe it’s a hidden gem. The hours are odd – it’s been four years of assuming this place must be epicly good but being unable to try it because it was never open when we had a free afternoon. So after many years and lots of “oh, maybe next time… I really need to look up their schedule sometime,” the stars aligned and we finally drove by at the right time.
This place has a tiny building and limited capacity to cook. Service is slower. They told us upfront it would be a 25-minute wait, and it was exactly that. We expected to wait and that was fine.
The price: $43 for two burgers, one order of onion rings, and one order of garlic fries. I think there were a couple of sides of sauce. There was a sign about an additional “inflation fee” or something similar by the order window. OK then, didn’t really care for that tbh.
Twenty-five minutes in our car to ponder their inflation sign, the wait, and the price.
Can’t help but be honest – There was a lot of “this must be good since people wait so long and pay this much.” Expectations were high even though we were already a little disappointed.
The positives – the box the food comes in looked nice, felt heavy, quality presentation.
The garlic fries were great, actually they were absolutely phenomenal. Legitimately the best we’ve ever had!
Which is why its so confusing. The reviewers all say juicy, delicious burgers. The best ever. However, the burger was a huge letdown. Fresh Lettuce and Tomato, which was nice, and seemed promising, burger looked delicious.
However, there’s no convincing me the meat patty wasn’t just an Extremely Over-Peppered, Frozen hockey puck straight from Costco or the Chef Store. I ate half, pulled the patty out, and literally knocked it against the table to show how solid it was. It was dryer than dry and the pepper was overwhelming. I can make the same thing at home faster, cheaper, and better. The onion rings were too oily and I wouldn’t try those again.
I can’t imagine waiting that long – or paying that much – for a burger like that again. But so many people do. We plan to come back just to see: was it an off day or not?
If the garlic fries could be that GOOD, I just know the burgers can be too. Everything about this place – from the campy, off hwy 20 vibe, to the nice gal that took our order, to the delightful presentation, screamed this is going to be the best burger of your life.
So for now: 3 stars for the garlic fries and nice gal at the window.

Holy smokes!! I regret not coming here sooner. We got the Teriyaki Burger, Atomic Mushroom Burger and Skagit Western Burger. By far the best burgers I’ve had in the area over 5 years. Every bite, I could taste literally everything in the Burger and still taste the beef! I was lucky to eat the rest of my daughter’s Burger, it filled her up fast, and I was not disappointed. We got the Sweet Potato fries and the Garlic fries, gotta say they were perfect to finish off the meal. You guys rock. Im a big burger guy, and Finally found my spot!! Also, the prices were surprisingly pretty good!

Just had this for the first time, and all I can say is wow. These hamburgers were incredible, and this is coming from someone who is pretty picky about them. For sure the best burgers in the valley (I can now say that I’ve tried every restaurant that serves burgers in the area). I ordered the atomic mushroom and Swiss burger, and between the mushrooms cheese and bacon, the proportions of ingredients were perfect. I’m normally a bit of a critic of these kinds of buns, but in this instance I think they went well with the burgers. The side of waffle fries I ordered were quite tasty as well. I highly recommend this place.

During the COVID years, this quirky friendly place was amazing. Now after the COVID years, something changed and change not for the good. My burger was completely dried and difficult to swallow. I cut it in half and the beef is gray and old (maybe cooked the day before and just reheated for customer orders), then I open one half of the burger and OH MY GOD, did a whole bottle of black pepper fell on my burger, the black pepper completely cover every inch of my burger (see pictures). The fries were cold, like not fully cooked. Unfortunately, I will not go back, the food was so so awful

It was the best burger I’ve had in a while. I got the Atomic Mushroom burger. Added an onion ring. It was, indeed, the bomb. Waffle fries with their special sauce was also a win.
Heads up, the kids slider burger is no slider. It’s a normal sized cheeseburger. The kid was not prepared with that kinda appetite this time.
Service was good, folks were friendly.
Atmosphere was just outside seating. They have the option of a drive thru as well.
They do have this curious wood carved table where a hot dog person is holding a table at crotch level, with a burger at the end. It could be perceived as a hot dog person with a burger weiner/boner. Definitely the best seat in the house. Lol. ♥️
