This restaurant is definitely very dated, but functional. The food was pretty good and hot. The portion sizes were very good. The restaurant adjoins a bar and to access the restrooms, we had to walk into the bar. We didn’t appreciate that, as we have kids. There was also an incredibly strong cigarette smell when we first walked in. So much so that I requested to be seated outside on their covered deck area even though it was cool. I think it was drifting over from the bar, but it smelled like someone was smoking inside the restaurant building. Overall, the food was good, but not really an atmosphere we like to frequent as a family.

We went on a day fishing trip. Seen this restaurant on the way home. People were super nice. Food not so good for 73.00 dollars. No flavor really and super greasy.

It’s like I walked into a time capsule. The decor is straight out of the late 70s and early 80s. You get that faint oder of cigarettes, because I’m guessing they used to allow indoor smoking years and years ago. They had ample seafood options, as well as options for your non-seafood people. Our table had the fried crab claws, fried flounder, fried soft shell crabs, fried shrimp, and the seafood gumbo. All of the food was amazing. Our server was very friendly and super attentive. I’m sorry, I forgot her name, but she was great. We’d definitely drop in again next time we’re down.

Hubby got the Flounder, which appeared to be the whole fish, breaded and deep fried. I got chicken tenders and fries which were okay. Restaurant is pretty dated. We sat on the enclosed rear porch on plastic furniture. The heat lamp was appreciated since it was cold out.

Enjoyed ice cold beer while fileting our cat h for the day. The kitchen pan seared a few filets for us and it was incredible! Grouper melt was to die for! Michelle was an absolute doll, loved chatting with her!

Best gumbo I had in a long time, shrimp po boy was off the chain as well. One little detail I have to share that I absolutely adore is that they serve you a beer with ice cold glass, pure class! Dog friendly ❤️

Staff was friendly. Outdoor seating was great. Decent beer selection at a fair price. Inside seating area smelled like cigs though. Food was soso and the fish tacos had bones. People in our group didn’t finish their meals so we had to eat somewhere else later. Unfortunately I doubt we return.

The restaurant sits on a marina, which is a very lovely view and provides a nice breeze. I would recommend sitting outside. They play a lot of music from the 1970s through the 1980s, which provides a really good vibe for the place. The service was excellent and knowledgeable. I ordered the Seafood Platter: cup of seafood gumbo, fried shrimp, fried crab claws, fried grouper, and oysters. Unfortunately, there is no ability to substitute for anything you don’t want. However, the waitress was kind enough to remove the oysters from the plate. The gumbo was hearty, warm, and deliciously spicy with pieces of shrimp. The fried seafood was delicious as well, tasty breading and a good selection of their seafood. I ordered the most delicious seasonal dessert. The Lemondrop Cheesecake is so lemony and creamy with a perfect Graham cracker crust. I only wish I had taken a second slice to go! The meal totaled to $36.91, which I think is a very reasonable price for the food I received. I would definitely return to this place.
