During a recent visit to the area for a doctor’s appointment, we stumbled upon the Maitland Breakfast Club, and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant is quaint and welcoming, and we were warmly greeted by Julia, our friendly server, who seated us with a smile.
We opted for the traditional breakfast, and my husband chose a three-egg ham and cheese omelet, complete with hash browns and a side of two massive pancakes. We were pleasantly surprised by the pancake portions—they were as large as dinner plates! Needless to say, we left with plenty of leftovers.
The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and we appreciated the cozy ambiance. We’ll definitely be returning next month, time permitting, as they close at 2 PM. Overall, a fantastic find and a place we highly recommend!

We were in the neighborhood for a doctor’s visit and happened to find this restaurant. We walked in and found an empty booth and was greeted promptly by our server, Kathleen. She was very polite and immediately took our drink order. Since it was our first visit, we asked for more time to look at the menu. She checked back a couple of times and we finally gave her our order. The service was fast and the food was quite tasty. Kathleen was wonderful and I recommend that you give this restaurant a visit.

I only had tea and a muffin, but both were good. The atmosphere was nice. The place was clean, and my server was attentive, helpful, and upbeat. To add another dimension to my muffin, it was grilled!! On a very cold Florida morning, that was a nice surprise. I liked over the menu, and I will definitely be back for some delicious down home cooking!

The only thing I don’t like about this place is I can’t give them six stars. It was by chance that I found this place. I was next door at Quest (never go there!) after fasting for 12 hours. The name sounded appealing and smelled good outside. I ordered to go because I’m very ill. The price was great and it came out super fast. The staff seems to be a bunch of great people. I left a 20% tip but I wish I would have left 40. I have family coming to visit me next week and this is where I am taking them. Aside from that, I’ll come here when I am able. What was most impressive is how everyone else seems to get my eggs wrong. Fried over medium well. It was barely runny, just perfect.

If you’re looking for a place to meet with friends or go out with the family this place is the place to go! Kathleen was the sweetest most amazing server, she was super helpful and made sure our food came out perfectly. Not to mention how cozy the atmosphere of this place is, plus the staff are so friendly and welcoming and their food is mouthwateringly delicious. Not to mention their bathrooms are super well kept and clean. Definitely a must try if you’ve not been.

1st and foremost the service here is great! Absolutely friendly and professional! Jackie took care of me and she was amazing.
The food is so good here and the orders come out so quick! My one critique would be that I wish I knew that cheese is considered an add on that I had to pay for.

I recently visited the Maitland Breakfast Club to meet with a client and a business partner, and I had such a great experience! From the moment I walked in, the person who greeted me made me feel genuinely welcome. They made a few suggestions, and I went with the steak and eggs absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a breakfast meeting. Now that I’ve discovered this hidden gem, I can definitely see myself coming here more often. I am disappointed with my experience during my visit today. I dined here yesterday and had a very positive experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, today’s visit did not meet the same standard.
The service was lacking. The cashier provided my order without verifying its accuracy, despite the order being repeated multiple times. When I paid in cash and placed the payment directly in her hand, my change was placed on the counter rather than handed back, which felt unprofessional.
Additionally, the food was overcooked, and the order was incorrect. While the restaurant has demonstrated the ability to deliver quality food, the inconsistency in both service and preparation made this visit disappointing. I hope these concerns are addressed to ensure a more consistent experience for future customers.

That said, my concern remains unchanged. My experience was not about expectations—it was about basic service and accuracy. A customer should not be required to dine in to receive the correct order or courteous treatment. Those standards should apply consistently, regardless of whether an order is placed for here or to go.
Additionally, while minor, the misspelling of my name further reinforced the feeling that attention to detail was lacking throughout the interaction.

I came here with my son for the first and definitely the last time. We ordered a traditional breakfast, we got water and hot coffee. Our waitress, Tina, seemed off. My breakfast was cold, so I asked her to warm it up. She took my plate but completely forgot about it. While she was away, she offered us a box for my son’s plate, but I reminded her that I was still waiting for my plate. When she finally brought it back, my breakfast was still cold, and my coffee was cold as well. I asked if I could get a refill, and she obliged.
There were also some questionable charges on my receipt, including a “service charge.” I definitely will not be returning here, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
