Went early in the evening so it was pretty quiet (which is what I prefer)
The food was incredible and the employees and owner were all very kind and helpful 🙂 I will definitely be going back. Injera itself is addictive.
We also got a hookah and it was perfect for relaxing and chatting after the meal.

The food was absolutely AMAZING! I have traveled many places and tried many Ethiopian cuisines but this one by far is the BEST I’ve had. Not to mention the service and vibes was awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’m visiting here from out of state and I am absolutely appalled by your establishment. I decided to choose to stay nearby while I worked in the area this weekend. It’s Saturday night at 1 AM in the morning and I have yet to be able to go to sleep because of how loud the music is from your establishment. I do not care about your excuse. There is absolutely no reason for it to be that loud and disturbing people around you. The hotel said they get soo many complaints about it as well. The lack of empathy when it comes to others after I’ve seen your replies to people’s reviews are disappointing. What’s funny is right when I got up after hearing your patron screaming because a fight was about to go down in the parking lot. The cops showed up a few minutes later to make everyone leave.

Man how I love screaming people outside while trying to sleep. It’s the best thing ever I tell you. *eye roll*

Get it together.

If your music is THAT loud outside I bet you have many busted ear drums inside. Tone it down and have some dang respect for your community and neighbors.

My father and I ate lunch here and it was excellent. I had the spicy beef and he had the peas. It came out on a large platter and we ate with our hands. I have never had Eritrean food before. The beef was tender with just the right amount of spice. The peas/tomato’s are a purée that has great flavor. I wish there was a place like this to eat on my area.

My first taste of Ethiopian food from Hope Restaurant did not disappoint! We ordered the Doro Wat and Kay Wat. Both were cooked perfectly tender, and the spices used with each were delicious. The injera bread was also wonderful, especially with sauces from the other dishes. I will definitely go back again soon.

Visited yesterday after FINALLY finding an Ethiopian Eritrean restaurant locally. Food is EXCELLENT!!! Generous portions, excellent flavor and authentic recipes. Customer service is next level and cleanliness and hygienic practices are top notch. If you love this cuisine, you’ll love this restaurant. If you’ve never tried it, you’ll love it!

I love this food. I used to get it when they were over on S. Main Street under the name Hope Restaurant. I was glad to find out that they simply moved locations. I order takeout because now it’s in a Hookah bar. I love the tangy Injera and the bouncy unique texture it has. The flavors are just so delicious. spicy, complex, meat perfectly cooked with a nice blend of spices. The portions are very big and it’s worth the price.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night (August 21st) at Hope Restaurant. We heard good things about it and the dinner and service were first-class. Ethiopian and Eritrean beers ($5 each) are excellent, and the Doro Wat excellent. We plan to return. Thank you.
