BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is in front of Richland Mall, making us a perfect place to stop after a shopping trip. We’re near Baylor University—and since we’re open until midnight or later seven days a week, students love to stop by for late-night study breaks and Pizookie® desserts. Our spacious dining area is great for large parties, but if you’d rather eat a BJ’s meal at home, you’re in luck! We deliver until 11:30 pm, and our location on the edge of three suburbs means we’re close to many neighborhoods. Come check out our Happy Hour specials and learn why BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has become a favorite place to eat in Waco.
Family-friendly chain outpost pairs familiar pub fare with an extensive list of house brews.

Excellent customer service by Ariel. My husband ordered sirloin and ribs and I ordered the tri-tip and chicken. Didn’t know what tri-tip really was more like a pot roast cut. I would probably order something different in the future. I do love the establishment and the atmosphere. Be prepared to pay a little bit more. Blessings and thanks to all again. Have a great 2026

We stopped here just passing thru and had an awesome experience! Our bartender/server, Timbrel, was so sweet and smiley that we decided to eat at the bar! We enjoyed the Ahi poke bowl, I had the tri tip dinner and my hubby had the French dip. Everything was delicious and our BJs beers were great, too! We’ll look for BJs again on future travel!

We had a great lunch with great personal service today. Burger as outstanding and I was very pleased as it seems a burger isn’t really that easy to cook these days. This was cooked to perfection and the deep fried jalapeños were just the right touch! I wish that I could hv ordered a side of them.
The chicken club was another crowd pleaser too! Both come with endless fries making both these meals, very generous. If you can, save room for dessert because they have a wonderful selection! There’s a full bar that awaits anyone who wants to enjoy a classic drink.
This BJ’s Like all the rest are large with ample seating in both the regular dining room, the bar and counter seating at the bar. Additionally, I’d like to point out that the restaurant was very clean.

I had a great experience on my last day working in Waco. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress Alejandra was very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of quickly. Even though it was a busy day, she stayed on top of everything and made the experience really enjoyable. It was a great way to wrap up my trip here for work. I definitely appreciate the great service and would happily come back again.

Tammi!!!!! Yes the manager is very disrespectful! I did a phone order and got there 30 mins early. I waited until I got notification my food was ready. I waited for someone to come to the desk. About 10 mins of waiting the manager TAMMI comes out with blue gloves on and food all over her hands!!! I’m shocked because I’m wondering WTH!!! She asking me about my order and my name. I’m looking at her like “What are you doing?” She says I’m getting your order. I’m looking at this woman being filthy proceeding to get information!! I said “ Not like that!” You got on dirty gloves! She tells me “I was on the line cooking!” She had an attitude because I’m concerned about a manger presenting herself to me as a customer dirty!! She walks off and says I’ll get someone else! Excuse me!! But when did the rules for contamination change. When has it ever been ok to leave a food line and provide customer service with gloves on while working. It’s obvious she was cooking or preparing food. But common sense!!! Basic one on one hygiene is take off your gloves. Secondly, present yourself in a professional manner. Third, be polite and respectful. It’s not my fault your business is lacking help. I’m a paying customer who has not ever had a problem. The young lady that came out was very respectful and listened to my concern. She even agreed the manger should have presented herself better and apologized for her managers MANAGEMENT SKILLS!!! I’m definitely taking this to WACO health department as a complaint. This was very unnecessary and I want someone to reach out regarding this manager! This woman violated multiple rules under Waco department of health. I will definitely be following up with the health department.

It’s a typical BJ’s. Good food and atmosphere, fun place. This is more a review of my server at the bar, Anthony. They were stacked with the typical Sunday afternoon crowd. Anthony kept the drinks and food flowing, even stepping in for floor service when the bar allowed him. Constantly thanking people for their patience, even though the service was flowing smoothly. Great job, Anthony! I hope others at the bar tipped you well. You earned every cent, my man!

Every time we go to BJ’s we know everything will be great! Our server Amy was fantastic BUT I will say that every server we have ever had has been fabulous! The menu is extensive & we always have a great meal! The service is good, the food is good & the atmosphere is casual & welcoming! A person could go here several times a week & find something different to order & enjoy!

I don’t leave reviews often, but as someone in the industry I can’t help myself.
I’m visiting Waco, and decided to come in for happy hour. I counted the amount of dirty tables when I walked in. 12… There were more dirty tables than guests at the time. Our server who was incredible. Had to clean off a table for us to sit down. It took her 15 minutes to clear the table because she was busy running her food, taking care of her tables, and greeting those who came in.
Meanwhile I see what I assume to be a manger (dressed business casual with a headset on) moved at a pace that would impress a sloth. There were at least two other servers on the floor that seemed to be above bussing tables, and a bartender who… wasn’t behind the bar. During a happy hour? Also didn’t dress a glass (salt and lime) for a margarita. Please google image search margarita. Honestly a little disrespectful to the drink. You could taste the lack of pride in her craft. I tipped our server 50% because I just felt bad she had to work under these conditions. She did great. I fully blame the leadership. All the reviews in the past two weeks have been one star. What’s going on with the management here?
Going out is a privilege and is not something that everyone can afford frequently.
You should honor that and want to create a positive experience for guests. There are a number of reasons why someone would CHOOSE to go out. Birthdays, anniversary’s, celebrations, or to simply make connections with people. You should want to enhance that experience, and it’s so discouraging to see when others don’t hold themselves to the same standards.

The building is pretty from inside and outside.
Food was okay, not outstanding.
Service was not as expected. Barmen messed up the drink, seat and table were very wet when we were shown the table. Seemed like not enough staff and we visited there on Friday night around 8pm. There were empty tables around us..
The AC was running a bit high.
