The Cozy Grill is quite literally cozy inside… the menu features breakfast classics but also an impressive Benedicts menu. I’m a Benny girl through and through so this was very appealing to me.
I tried their most popular option, the Fig, Prosciutto, and Goat Cheese. It sounds like a bizarre combination for Eggs Benny, but let me tell you, it really works! I was very happy with my choice. The home fries were also quite good.
My friend had eggs and corned beef hash. She is a huge fan of corned beef hash and was really impressed by how it was served (more elegantly than is typical). I, never having had corned beef hash in my life, tasted hers and thought it was really good!
All in all, I’m so glad I finally discovered this spot. I can see why it’s so popular and can imagine much longer lines on the weekends. Arrive early for your best chances at parking 🙂
Ok so, the service. Almost as soon as we entered, we were directed where to sit, there was no wait and we were there about lunch time on a Thursday. I don’t have a single bad thing to say. The waitress gave some good recommendations regarding the food, and was attentive.
Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the food! The selections were both traditional and there were some pretty unique options. I decided to get the French Toast made with Portuguese sweet bread. They were also serving lunch and one of the burgers they offer is called The Figgy Burger which is a burger with goat cheese and fig jam. They also serve hot Pastrami and several different varieties of omelettes. You will likely have trouble making up your mind. I have included a picture of both sides of their menu for your viewing pleasure and pre planning convenience. A word of caution to my fellow onion haters. The home fries, which can be made regular or deep fried, come with pieces of onion so big, if one hit from space, we would have a global level extinction event. There wasn’t even any escape from the evil onions with the deep fried option. All in all everybody liked their food. We ordered a mix of both breakfast and lunch selections. I really liked the Portuguese Sweet Bread French Toast.
Definitely give this place a try.
I ordered a Western Omelet. It was perfect! It arrived on table, very fast. Service was polite and to the point.
Depending of time of day, it gets very busy. There might be a wait, so prepare. Parking is tight but available.
Lastly, The Cozy Grill even has the old school counter seating, with stools!
My favorite is the Lobster Benedict, with perfectly cooked eggs, well-seasoned, needing no extra salt or pepper. It comes with generous portions of home fries and lobster, making side dishes unnecessary.
For a satisfying, laid-back breakfast, this spot is tough to beat.
The food is exactly what you’d hope for —
the service is top-notch. The staff treats you like family, refilling your coffee before you even have to ask and making sure everything is just right. Despite how busy it can get, the atmosphere remains welcoming and relaxed.
The Cozy Grill delivers every time. A true New England gem — I can’t recommend it enough!
