Was having issues with a oven so basically there wasnt any pizza on the bar at points and when a pizza came out jus 1 at the time with 40-50 customers. Couldn’t really enjoy our lunch like that having to stand and wait at the buffet bar. I Just left and took it as a loss for my money and time. Normally they are great and normally pizza inn is one of my favorite spots.

I really hate to leave this review seeing as I grew up in Washington. I LOVE Pizza Inn. My grandma and I used to religiously go together weekly. My past couple of visits have been extremely disappointing, culminating in last night’s visit. We showed up an hour before closing. They were steady at the time but had many open tables. Most of which were covered in trash/plates and needed cleaning. We waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged even though many employees passed us. We were finally acknowledged by a young man who asked how many people we had. We told him 6. He breathed out an exasperated breath. He just didn’t even want to deal with us. He walked away without saying anything. He came back and informed us that we could sit, but we would have to be at separate booths. We said that we would rather wait a little while and sit together because we saw some tables that were going to be cleaned that we could sit together at. He rolled his eyes and again said he’d have to check. When he returned he told us he was informed that they were closing the buffet down in the next 30 minutes. You could tell from the way he have acted from the beginning of the conversation…he did not want anyone else to be seated or eat there. Due to this interaction, we decided that we would just go to a different restaurant. I hear all the time that pizza inn is not doing as well. This probably has something to do with that. Last night they lost at least $100 from us just because of one employee being so rude.

Went in to eat, no pizza were stocked beside mushroom pizzas and 2 slices of cheese. We waited 42 mins to be exact and no pizza were brought out to….. but it’s suppose to be a buffet. Still have to pay full price pretty much for no pizza… will not be returning. HIGHLY do not recommend. Also we’re not many tables in there.

Back in the day, when this place had the different areas you could sit (Like the jail cells etc.) it was awesome (when it comes to atmosphere) because you felt like you had your own little space for your party while you were eating. There are NO cushions on the booth seats and it makes them a bit uncomfortable. I have always loved their buffet and salad bar. I do wish they would put more “supreme” or veggie pizza options on the buffet and also maybe more Pan or hand tossed crusts as well. Having MOSTLY thin crust is a bit frustrating if you’re someone who tends to like, at the very least, the thicker bread from a hand tossed pizza. I also remember that they used to have spaghetti on the buffet, but didn’t notice it the last couple of times I’ve been. If it’s gone, that stinks because it used to be delicious. My only other issue is the fact that the buffet is directly in front of the area where the staff has to go in and out of the kitchen. That is a LOT of traffic right around the buffet and salad bar when people are trying to get their food and staff attempting to wait on customers. I know that this is where the buffet has always been, but it may be time to think about moving things around. I saw several near miss collisions of staff and customers at the buffet/salad bar and it just seems like a real serious accident just waiting to happen.

We highly recommend this restaurant as Washington’s best pizza buffet ! They have a delish salad bar with some “piezerts” as dessert pizzas.
When you are seated your waitress usually asks if there’s any certain pizza that you’d like to have put in. They are very accommodating and it’s always been clean and friendly there.
Stop in if you’re in Washington, NC and are wanting a nice selection of fresh made pizza.

Hardly any pizza on the bar when we arrived. What little bit that was there looked like it had been out for quite a while. Decided to get a salad while I waited for more pizza, the lettuce bin had been removed and a girl was refilling it. When she brought it back out with fresh lettuce, it was all brown (not fresh). This is not the first time we’ve been and it was like this. This seems to be the norm now.

I have never been so diappointed in this restaurant. For years I have brought my daughter and her husband here for their November birthdays because the food was excellent, and I could make a reservation. When I called to make this year’s reservation, the person who answered had to chackto see if they could accommodate 8 people at 5:39 because they already had another large party booked. When we arrived at 5:30,we were seated and the waitress took out drink order at which time I told her we would like to have cheese pizza and thin crust hamburger pizza added to the buffet. When we went to the buffet, there was one piece of pizza, salad bar was not stocked, and pizzerts were the very low. When pizza did arrive on the bar, it was good. Innan hour we did not see a hamburger pizza no or a fruit pizzert.The waitress never brought school so I told the checkout guy what we ate and he took my payment.

Food is as expected for a pizza buffet. Not the best but for the price, you can’t beat it. The server, Riley, was very attentive, a great sense of humor & worked very hard. Will definitely go back when in town.

I came in from out of town to take my three. Grandkids out there was no pizza on the buffet it was completely out. My grandson was given a cup with a hole in it and it spilled all over the table. The sever was nice and friendly. However I will never go back

Pizza and pizzert on buffet were cold and dry. Lettuce for salad not fresh. I had ONE piece of good pizza that was brought from the kitchen per request. Spoke to manager, who was nice. She explained that there were new staff, learning and she had seen the bad selection of old dried out pizzas and threw them away and had fresh ones made (after we were DONE) and didn’t charge us. Don’t know if I will ever go back. This is not the first time the food was not up to par.
