Probably the best breakfast fare in the county. I don’t know why people flock to Wildberry. Not that Wildberry isn’t good. However, there are many like it. Emily’s comes to mind… Walker Bros…

BUT… THIS place is absolutely scrumptious! Delicious breakfast cooked to perfection. Granted I’m new to this establishment as I’ve only been there twice. But I’ve ordered several items and every one has been very tasty. I have several more items that I’m looking forward to ordering…

Hint. The more ingredients you see in the dish, the bigger it is. Anything that has biscuits and gravy in the the ingredients is two separate meals guaranteed. Their sausage gravy alone is worth coming for. And you definitely won’t mind trying the Apple Gouda Melt…

Drive by this place on a Sunday morning (like I did today) and the crowd of cars and people will tell you exactly how good this place is.

These are pics from my first visit…

If you are traveling through fox lake you WILL want to try this place!!!Great food, great service. The BEST Belgian waffle I have ever had! The food was so good we went back once more before leaving town. The skillet with fried green tomatoes, potatoes, ham, and the perfect eggs, with hollandaise sauce was even better! You won’t be disappointed.

Cool atmosphere. Food is good. Very expensive for Fox Lake during off season in February. Cost me $70 for me and my 9 and 11 year old . It’s literally cheaper to take them to WildBerry for exceptional food. I ordered chorizo and eggs. I asked for some cheese to make my tacos. They bring the cheese in the little cup they give you salsa in. I asked if they charged for cheese. They told me $2.00. I told them to take it back. There wasn’t even enough cheese to make 3 tacos. Our waitress brings over the owner to explain the $2 cheese. I let the owner explain herself and gave her the opportunity to maybe offer the cheese for free or maybe give us the $5.50 bacon off our bill. She didn’t have much to say, so here I am writing a review that I wouldnt typically make time to write. Then I get the bill. My 9 year old ordered a side of bacon. 3 PCs for $5.50 or almost $2 per piece. It wasn’t thick cut bacon like higher end breakfast joints. I literally ate all the fat which was half the bacon. My daughter picked it apart and ate the other half. Buying drinks at any restaurant is ridiculous. Whistle stop has the normal $4 and $5 milk chocolate or orange juice. Then to top it off, there is the charge to use your credit card. Most restaurants are doing this now. In short, I will not be going back. If I am going to spend premium money I will be going to WildBerry. The sad part is that I will actually save money taking the kids there to eat. I hate to say this, but I feel like I was taken advantage of, and I gave away $70. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you better have premium food “like bacon”, premium seating, professional uniforms, and you don’t nickel and dime for cheese that should have been part of the plate like most restaurants in this price range.

Local little hot spot. First time visiting. Our server, Christina was outstanding! Food was quick, cooked perfectly and price was better than expected considering the extra large portions. Almost was everyone leaving with a doggie bag. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the service. It was, without question, some of the best service we have ever received at a restaurant. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and honest, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their attentiveness and genuine care made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding food paired with truly exceptional service.

The Apple Pie French Toast is excellent! Comes with pecans and whipped cream on top. Delicious! Also ordered hashbrowns and asked them to add mushrooms, green pepper, and cheddar cheese on top. They were more than happy to serve it just the way I liked!

We visit 2-3 times a month for breakfast on the weekends. It can be busy but they are fast and have awesome service. Food is upperend dinner level, not fancy but friendly and offered at a fair price.

My husband loves eating out for breakfast…. I HATE it! This place makes it work. I can order lunch as early as I want while he orders biscuits and gravy.

Best Sunday soup, creamy chicken rice! Pro tip, order lemons on the side and squeeze into the soup, it’s heaven!

As a human being that happens to live on earth and is totally not an alien, I just have to rate it so good. I devoured my simple sandwich with turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. It came with hash browns. I was in heaven. My totally human father and totally human mother devoured their food. Many vegetarian options. Wide range of foods. Many great desserts. Would come again, staff extremely friendly and kind. Very relatable and fast. We felt very extremely welcomed.

Just came with family from out of town.
We were served sour gravy.
Ended up leaving and going to another restaurant.

Our bill was still $52 for 2 soups, 2 juices, 1 skillet.
OUTRAGEOUS

Never will return and will not recommend to anyone asking of a good little place to eat.

Downright horrible.
