I very much enjoyed my morning breakfast of a Chorizo Benni. Such wonderful flavors and a perfectly poached egg. When I asked my server about it, she said it was her favorite on the menu, and now I know why. I highly recommend if you like poached eggs (runny yoke) and a bit spicier foods.

Nice way to start my Saturday. I went with the 3 egg omelet. Came with a meat on the side and hashbrowns. I selected Turkey sausage. Service was very friendly and quick. This meal was $12 plus tax + tip. Meal was hot , fresh and tatsted great. Omelet had mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. I’d recommend eating here.

Ray’s is an OK bar for food. Service was good. Food selection is limited. We had the chicken quesadilla and it was very good. The wife’s valley club was large and delicious. My Reuben was marginal. The french fries were hot and good. The chardonnay wine was served warm (ugh!), but the beer was cold. The entertainment (5 to 7 pm) was a plus. With all the other options at Westgate not sure we will return.

Nice little bar… good taps, excellent cocktails, local beers and whiskey. Four Peaks beers and Fossil Creek Whiskey. Not to mention a perfect rye Manhattan.

How often is hotel restaurant five star quality? I’ve got to say it’s exception and not the rule. In fact, I typically skip hotel fare. I’m so glad that I tried out this unassuming little spot in the lobby of the Renaissance – Glendale. It is exceptional. The breakfast buffet for example, it doesn’t look particularly fancy… But wow! The freshest ingredients. Beautiful fruit, delicious, crispy, waffles, awesome omelettes, perfectly prepared bacon. Just really solid and good…
I was also pleasantly surprised by the crispy pork tacos on the lunch menu. So good…I ordered them two days in a row. Ohhh and the bar… Aaron, the bartender is amazing. His old-fashioned is outstanding!!! I travel a lot and I’m on the quest for the perfect old-fashioned. Aaron’s is truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Best birthday drink EVERRRR! Moreover… He remembers you from one day to the next. That’s pretty exceptional in a hotel bar with a steadily shifting clientele. Pleasant surroundings, great people, great location…I enthusiastically recommend Soleil.

Outstanding service from Aaliyah for breakfast during our stay. My partner and I both have food allergies and she was able to assure of safe preparation. Delicious food as well and we enjoyed sitting outside. On Day 2 of our stay, Sue and Areli took really good care of us during the breakfast buffet. Thank you!

Delicious food. Well priced. My only issue is that out of the 4 dishes we ordered that 3 of them were VERY spicy. Also the option of chips or fruit isn’t very desirable. Brenda (the bartender) is wonderful. She is very good at her job.

I typically have low expectations when it comes to restaurant food, but this place blew them away. Reserved their private dining room for a daylong work meeting with colleagues. Server was very sweet and the smoked salmon salad was fantastic. Fresh greens, generous amount of perfectly smoked salmon, creamy goat cheese (I think from a local place), tasty dressing

Sue was very nice, but they were *severely* understaffed for breakfast and as a result it took a long time (45 minutes) to get our food. The food was just okay (i.e., lots of butter and oil), but if you go here I’d recommend just going to the buffet rather than ordering off the menu. On the plus side, the coffee was pretty tasty.

Decent sized bar with good bartenders. We got wine so can’t comment on the beer or cocktails. My biggest gripe was the number of TVs- there were too many! I personally don’t like when a nice hotel lounge/bar tries to be a sports bar. A lot of us enjoy music with our drinks. Get rid of or turn off the TVs and I’ll give 5 stars.
