This is such a nice Starbucks. I love the chairs they are my ultimate favorite. I ordered a caramel macchiato with a cream cheese danish and my husband got a venti iced coffee with sugar-free vanilla. Wonderful service lots of staff so that everything runs swiftly and smoothly.

I am a regular customer at this location. Today, I asked for my drink to be remade due to poor quality, but the staff responded with an unprofessional attitude. It appears the previous crew has been replaced, and the current team lacks basic courtesy and customer service.

The staff acted as if my request was intentional or meant to inconvenience them, which was not the case. The matcha I received was extremely poor in quality: watery, with a dull, dirty green color, and tasted nothing like matcha. My drink contained five scoops of matcha, yet it was flavorless and unpleasant.

This raises concerns about whether a lower-quality matcha is being used instead of the standard Starbucks matcha. Considering the price of $7.75, receiving a drink that tastes like flavored water is unacceptable.

If management is reviewing this, I strongly urge you to pay closer attention to this crew’s attitude, professionalism, and product quality.

I’ve been going to the Starbucks in Buena Park for a while, and I’m impressed by how clean and well-maintained it is. I remember when it was known as the Movieland Starbucks. The coffee and service are excellent here.

I’ve ordered several drinks, and I recommend using the app to speed up the process rather than ordering at the counter. The restrooms are usually clean, and I’ve never had any issues with them. The staff is friendly and welcoming, although the place can get quite busy at times.

Overall, my experience at this Starbucks has been great. I enjoy the atmosphere and the convenience it offers.

Very disappointing matcha experience.
I ordered a matcha drink with 5 scoops, but the first cup had no matcha aroma at all and tasted bland and watery, almost like milk diluted with water. If I wasn’t told it was matcha, I wouldn’t have known.

After I asked for it to be remade, the second cup finally tasted properly like matcha and was enjoyable, which shows the issue was with the initial preparation, not personal preference.

Additionally, the staff’s attitude was not good when I gave feedback, not very attentive or professional.

For the price, the quality and consistency are disappointing. Overall, not a good experience.

I could be wrong, but I feel like they didn’t even add whey powder to my drink as advertised for the iced protein matcha. Gave me the largest size with the ingredient portions for a medium sized drink without disclosing why. Tasted watery. Didn’t feel like I drank 60 grams of protein afterwards either, as usually it’d leave me feeling a more full. This drink costed $9.25.

Coffee is good but way overpriced, considering you can buy a bag of organic coffee with functional mushrooms (like actual healthy coffee with no mold or pesticides)at Sprouts and make coffee for the whole month( and Sprouts always has bogo deals on the coffee as well as other healthy stuff as well all the time)for just over the price of 2 cups at Starbucks. Service at this location is always good and fast. And the atmosphere is about the same as any other drive thru, never been inside this location.

I visited the store today, Oct. 22, 2025 (Wednesday morning) around 11:30 am. I placed my order thru the drive thru. The store manager and the drive-thru barista refused to give or sell me a venti cup topper because of “store policies.” This is absurd, I even asked to pay for it, but they both said no. They said the toppers (stickers) were only for delivery orders cups.

I was a frequent, loyal customer to this store, who took family and friends to this place but no anymore. I went to La Palma and Dale store, and they gave me a topper with no problem and for free.

I wanted to appreciate every staff member for their efforts through out the whole year by making me feel welcome every morning when I start my morning ! Great staff overall never had an issue . If you’re ever in town stop by and check them out .

Kicked out for using bathroom to blow my nose splash face and wash hands on a hot as anything afternoon. They may have cameras in the bathroom (creepy) so watch out ….Of course I ordered first! Bad uptight attitudes when asked to correct my coffee which was too light….missing ingredients .Found some kind of weird white sediment in bottom of cup! Refused refill .Everything is else ok Service not exactly quite as pleasant as others. I’m an older senior female traveler here only for a few days, not local, which apparently they don’t like. Felt like age & gender discrimination.
