I grabbed lunch at Pinches Tacos and ordered the carne asada burrito, and it absolutely delivered. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The burrito was generously filled with guacamole, rice, and beans, all well balanced and satisfying.
The salsa deserves a shoutout on its own. It was bold, spicy, and packed with flavor, exactly what you want with a solid burrito.
On top of the food, the location makes the experience. Sitting outside on Sunset Blvd, enjoying lunch and watching the street buzz by, felt iconic and fun. Great food, great vibe, and a classic LA lunch spot I would happily come back to.

From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding — kind, attentive, and warm. I ordered a chicken burrito and was offered three types of chicken to choose from — I went with al pastor, and it was a perfect choice. The burrito was served beautifully cut in half, with chips and salsa on the side (which I didn’t even expect — such a nice touch!). The presentation on the plate was great, and they even brought it right to my table, which made me feel truly welcomed.
The salsa was fresh, the chips were crispy, and the burrito itself — full of flavor, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Add to that a cold glass bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola, and it just felt like a real treat.
It’s rare to find a spot that delivers both great food and genuinely great energy. I’ve just found my go-to Mexican place. Big thanks to the team — you’ve earned yourself a loyal regular!

Decent people but tacos were cold bland and over all not good. Me and my date both were unsatisfied. The fish taco is really terrible it’s gives soggy chicken tender vibes. And the salsa tastes and looks like sweet and sour sauce! But best of luck to them. They can only go up from here !

The bierra Tacos here are amazing. The broth was spiced so well. We also had some el pastor and carbine tacos which were good, but the bierra was the winner. Overall a bit pricey, but with a stop. The people were friendly and the location is right on the strip and a convenient stop if you need that emergency taco fix!

The atmosphere is pretty cool. The employees are cool to talk with. I got the taco plate combination, which comes with 3 tacos, Rice, and beans. The tacos were delicious. The sauce is what made it amazing! The red sauce is very good and has a very nice kick to it.

I don’t think I’ve ever ordered takeout from here and received what I asked for (BOUGHT!). This has been going on for years… easily 10+ times, and it’s always wrong! Missing stuff, wrong stuff…
At this point I should probably ask myself why I keep coming back, because the food is fine but the order accuracy is consistently terrible.

So yummy, definitely a great way to experience Cali Mexican food.. I am from Texas & we have our own style, just as New Mexico has their own style Great job guys
I recommend trying the Watermelon Agua Fresca (just wish they were bigger cups)
