This place is a true hidden gem ! We were driving along I-80 on our way to visit family in California, not expecting to find anything this incredible. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food over the years, and I can honestly say this is the best I’ve ever had . My wife and I were completely blown away from the first bite.
I ordered the Pork Carnitas, and it was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned . My wife went with the Chile Verde burrito, and she couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was . Everything tasted fresh and authentic.
We were so impressed that we actually planned our return trip around stopping here again . If you’re passing through Elko, don’t even think about skipping this spot. It’s absolutely worth it!

We visited the restaurant as a family with two teenagers on our trip to the USA. We decided to go for Mexican food and had a great experience at Garibaldi’s Restaurant Elko. The welcome was extremely friendly and the drinks arrived promptly. We opted for fajitas, which were very tasty and plentiful. It is particularly worth mentioning that the food was served hot and authentically. For dessert, we ordered churros, which were also freshly prepared and tasted light and delicious. We will remember our evening at Garibaldi’s as a wonderful experience. We can recommend this restaurant in every respect.

We arrived and were seated at 8:30, ordered right away, served by 8:40, by 8:50 one of the waitresses began vacuuming around the tables next to ours. I asked our server if they closed at 9 but she confirmed they close at 10pm. Our waitress asked the other one to stop vacuuming. Five minutes later she was back, vacuuming around some other tables. I asked our server again if they needed us to leave and she said no, and asked the other woman to stop. A few minutes later she came back a third time to vacuum. We were done eating by then and waiting for the check which our server never brought. So we went to the front and paid on our way out. We left at 9:22. The restaurant closes at 10pm.
If you want to eat in peace and hear your conversation, this isn’t the place for you. They do have very clean floors, though.

I heard about this Mexican restaurant through my family who traveled through town. They told me this was the best Mexican restaurant in town. So I decided to try it and I was not disappointed! The food was terrific and service was prompt and professional. It definitely has an authentic feel to it. Plus they also have TVs where they put on games and shows. I will definitely be returning here when I visit Elko again.

This is a true hidden Gem !!! We were traveling on I80 heading to visit family in CA. I’ve had my fair share of Mexican food and I can confidently say this is the best I have ever had!!! My wife and I were blown away! We planned our trip home around this restaurant!!! I had the Pork Carnitas and my wife had the Chill Verde burrito!!! Do not pass Elko without stopping here!

I was passing through Elko for work and wanted some Mexican food. Drove by this place and decided to stop for lunch. I was excited to find that they had shredded beef so I got the burrito and it was really good! The complimentary chips and salsa also came with a side of beans which I thought was great. Brenda was my waitress and the service was super fast! She kept my drink refilled and once I ordered my burrito I had it in under 5 minutes! I will definitely remember Garibaldi’s when I’m heading through for work in the future!

My mom & I went here for dinner during a trip. We love Mexican food, and Garibaldi’s was very satisfying. Mom had the taco salad and really liked it. I had the Choose 3 Combo with a cheese enchilada, chicken tostada, and shredded beef taco. While all of the did was good, the shredded beef was phenomenal! Tender, moist, and flavorful. Our waiter was also really friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this place!

Stopped in for dinner one Saturday. The place was really busy. The staff were prompt and friendly. I ordered pollo asado with a ground beef enchilada. The seasoning is on the milder side and the chicken was a bit dry. The sides of beans and rice were excellent. The salsa had a little kick and onions which I really enjoyed. Great place for a typical family friendly meal.
