When arriving I went to the restroom and it was not the cleanest.
Food was good but I find it weird they dont serve it all at once. It was a little pricey.
Restaurant was a little chilly
The vegetable sushi rolls were outstanding—packed with crisp veggies and perfectly seasoned rice. The vegetable tempura was light and crunchy without being oily. I also loved the tofu, which had a rich, balanced sauce and a generous portion size.
The staff were knowledgeable about vegetarian preferences and were happy to suggest modifications where needed. Overall, this is one of the best spots for vegetarian-friendly Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying veg-friendly !!
The lady in the front is miserable and kills the vibe instantly. Walked in with excitement but after 30 seconds of talking to her, I was already rubbed the wrong way. They need to get rid of her. She clearly does not enjoy being there and has no manners. I regret dropping $100 on a meal since I wasn’t treated decently.
The chef was very boring and split the portions unevenly. One person gets a pound of rice and the other gets a half portion? I don’t understand. All the food is drenched in oyster sauce so as a result the steak, shrimp, and chicken all have the same flavor. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good… BUT with the pricing, I was expecting some kind of enthusiasm or a different flavor profile from the food.
Lastly, they straight up rush you out. They’ll come around and hand you the bill before you’re even done eating. Yet, they’re nowhere to be found when you need a refill or some help with something. This place gives strange vibes. No one seems happy to be there.
Do not recommend. I should’ve went to Sushi Palace instead.

Wife had Sushi. I had Hibachi. Very good. Large portions. Good value. Plenty of leftovers for both of us for lunch the next day. Only disappointment was we weren’t allowed to sit a Hibachi table because the wife was having sushi. Hibachi was cooked in kitchen and brought to our dinning room table. Dinning room was too quiet. Needs music, otherwise you can hear conversations at other tables clearly.
Bonus it’s BYOB.
When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty only one table with a hibachi chef was occupied. The front desk staff was already annoyed because our party was a few minutes late, but again, the place was empty!
We sat down and ordered drinks and appetizers, but not all the appetizers arrived. The staff then rushed the chef to start cooking. When we explained that we wanted to get our appetizers first, the lady became hostile, saying we had only 30 minutes to eat because another party was coming. Mind you, the entire restaurant was EMPTY!
The appetizers were mediocre, the soups were cold, and the staff’s attitude was rude and unprofessional.
We decided to LEAVE paying only for what we had eaten, and went to another hibachi in Green Brook KOTO Hibachi Asian Bistro, where we were treated like family. The staff was polite, attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Yutaka has lost our business for good.
