Coming from Germany, I had to try out the 1lb Big Jud’s Burger challenge. I had the burger with all toppings, tots and root beer. I had to wave the white flag, but still it was the best burger I had in my entire life. It was extremely tasty, with fresh high quality ingredients. Also, the service was incredibly friendly. My family was extremely satisfied with their choice of food as well. I wish there was such a great burger restaurant where I live!

This is the place you want to come for great burgers and shakes. It’s a good old fashioned kind of restaurant. They also custom made a burger I use to eat at an old fashioned kind of burger place in the Central Valley of Calif. they have created a burger called the knock out and I appreciate them because they have gives me back approx 50 years of the best burger. Try them just ask for mayo, burger patty, fresh jalapeño’s, CRISP bacon, a little bit of lettuce and either regular cheese or my favorite blue cheese.yum yum

I love the food here. We love the portion sizes. All the food is tasty. We’ve tried many of their items over the years. They were perfectly happy to make my husband’s food ahead of time as he is a UPS Driver & has a very short break. They have REAL fry sauce. I have loved this place since they were in the old building. I’m so glad the food has never “cheapened”. They could have cut corners over the years. They haven’t. I’m loyal for that. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. The bathroom was clean.

Great food and generous portions. These hamburgers are in my opinion some of the best in Idaho and the closest to home made i can find around here. The tots and onion rings are really good. Beware of ordering the large portion unless you plan to share lol. Shakes are also top notch here. We like the huckleberry flavor.

We had a large group of 13, some visiting Idaho for the first time from out of the country, and we had a wonderful time. The staff had us wait just a few minutes until they could sit us all together. For those of us who can’t finish a 1 or 2 pounds of meat in a single hamburger, we were able to divide them up among us with large servings of french fries and some onion rings, and the tater tots. Our guests were able to enjoy Fry sauce which they liked, and we all enjoyed the excellent and friendly service.
At the end, the servers made it easy to pay by small groups. All in all a great experience for those visiting, and us locals!

I hadn’t been back since they built the “new” building (10 years ago!) because we moved out of the area. I had the bacon avocado cheeseburger and it was delicious! Plenty big enough for me with the single patty. The “small” fries/tots were way more than I could eat and the drink was huge! I loved the fry sauce being in a squeeze bottle on the table! The server was very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Big Jud’s NOT Big Chud’s. Jud’s always coming through with that TOO BIG burger. When asked if I want a side with whatever burger choice I make that day, I don’t wanna sound cheap, but what’s the point? This burger is a meal on its own.

Anyways, service is always pretty good. Burgers are always a hit. Chicken sandwiches are a decent option if you’re burgered out. I’ve never left hungry…. Can’t imagine that’s possible unless you just had an ice cold free water (which they serve).

I’d recommend sides though if you have a place to keep ‘em fresh, like the pocket of your dope cargo pants, cause you aren’t going to be able to eat em all AND a delicious TOO BIG burger. The ranch is real good and that fry sauce is the ticket.

So go on and ride that ride, push that bush…. Get a TOO BIG burger and stretch your stomach. Oh, and one more thing… It’s Big Jud’s NOT Big Chud’s.

I get that it’s a local legend and that’s great. But it’s not a 4.6 burger restaurant. All of these burgers were average. I’d suggest better salting the ground beef and maybe letting the salt season it for longer. The fries are okay, not great. I was so excited about the tots, but honestly they had a weird outhouse-like smell. Good milkshakes. That was easily the best part. Oh…and no Coca Cola products. They’ve committed the great Pepsi sin. Super nice service though.

It’s definitely your good Ole fashioned burger joint, right down to the color. Food was good, asked for med-rare and the cook nailed it! Only strong dislike is that the cost of the burger out weighs the taste, at averagely 12-13$.
