“I enjoy every plate I try here; flavors stay rich and exciting. I crave their warm stew, slow-cooked meat, crisp shells, sweet corn treat, and even their cool rice-and-grain drink. Each visit feels consistent, friendly, and easy on the wallet. A go-to spot for comforting, soulful meals.”

After reading the reviews, we came here with an open mind. Mexican Food is NOT all the same. One must remember that there are many differences state by state. This state is known for their machaca and birria. They lose stars on order taking skills and the cook for not knowing the difference. The ladies taking the order need to NOT RUSH CUSTOMERS AND PAY ATTENTION. The cook needs to learn the difference between sunny side up, easy over, over medium, and hard.
The place is a bit loud with the restaurant noise and televisions aside from the customer’s conversations.
The decor is average and the layout is good considering is a small place.

Been here dozens of times food was amazing back then waitresses have never changed they have the same little attitude but food was really good. Now we have to deal with the waitresses attitudes and the food has changed. I’ve been here a couple times in the past maybe year we paid over $100. Food not too good we ordered Tamales and they tasted a little old and had a little smell like it was going bad already and we ordered the machaca and the machaca wasn’t cooked properly Gad huge chunks of machaca and vegetables like horrible. I’m Sinaloense so I know how that machaca should really looks nice and thin already cooked and served. My worse $100+ spent here. And it wasn’t busy so I was like maybe they were just lazy to cook my machaca right and cut the vegetables properly. Never going back! ;(

Fist time stopping at this restaurant and will be the last time. Waitresses were rude as soon as we sat on the table, We ordered 2 drinks and got the wrong ones. Waited for a long time to get our food and we’re. We got it it was already cold. PRICES IN THE MENU ARE NOT UPDATED!!
I asked the waitress about it and she got very mad and defensive about the prices telling me she forgot to mention the prices on the menu have not been updated. She spoke to the owner and he told her to give us the menu prices. She was still so hateful saying she was not gonna discount $1 for the beans cause I didn’t ask about it. I never knew I was supposed to ask if the prices on the the card were the most updated ones or not. I have never had such bad service at a restaurant before and then when you try to talk to employees they make ugly faces at customers cause they don’t want to hear any complaints. I didn’t have a problem paying for whatever she wanted to charge me but the fact that she made it a huge ordeal about the price is what made me write this post. I will never ever go to this restaurant again and I’ll make sure I tell people I know about my experience there.

Breakfast was delicious. I always go for the machaca con huevo. The cebada drink is also good.

Good food, coffee was a bit too watered down for me. Prices are way more expensive it was $75 for 3 basic breakfast/lunch meals but then again everything is pricey nowadays. Ok service, blonde haired lady has a bit of an attitude.

We waited 45 minutes for our food, the prices are too much for the little food they give you, the beef tostadas were plain and the meat tasted rotten. They serve you so little. We eat outside and the tables where dirty full of flies over others left overs. Ridiculous never again!! I asked for flour tortillas they give me corn, like come on

Came here for breakfast with my family. The staff was able to accommodate the 12 of us in 2 tables. We are from Sonora and Sinaloa, so it was great to finally see some familiar traditional dishes. Food was good, but the staff was plain rude. The waitresses were very unfriendly, and plain rude whenever we asked for something. The only nice one was the cashier with black hair.
A big plus is that we were able to order while waiting for our table, so food didn’t take that long to be served.
