1. Taste of aloha sampler – everything on this plate was fresh and quality ingredients. The tomatoes were delicious, the shrimp was prepared well and fresh, and the only call out is that it does have the shell on the outside. Which you can choose to eat or remove. (4.5/5 )
2. King Locomoco with garlic rice – this dish was delicious, but be prepared it’s large. We probably should have ordered a size smaller. It is a heavier style dish, which is good for sharing. (5/5 )
I would recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants to try Hawaiian food.
However, the service in this place was atrocious. I think that the servers aren’t paying enough attention to their customers. I shouldn’t have to ask for water when I’m seated, I shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes after I finish eating with a dirty plate in front of me while other’s around me are seen to. Pay attention to your customers!
Awesome cost value ratio especially if you’re traveling in from out of town. This would be an awesome date spot.
The main complaint is that the pineapple drink was not good – it was quite pricy (about $30 for the drink), but it tasted like there was no alcohol at all, and it was supposed to be a pina colada, but it just tasted like blended up pineapple (no coconut). It was a really disappointing drink for the price especially.
The food we had was good though, the place looked nice, and the service was good.
