I’ve been to multiple Fogo locations and this one had the best service! The manager Chrissy and server Diana were kind and attentive from the moment we sat down, and there were 3 other staff members who were always checking in on us and helping us get the meats we wanted. One server even hand-wrote a list of meats for us when we asked! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We loved the flank steak and filet mignon, and the chocolate brigadeiro dessert was delicious too.

My husband decided we should pre-game Valentines Day dinner 2 nights before to avoid the crowds and truly be able to enjoy each other’s company. We went to this newer restaurant Fogo de Chao in Thousand Oaks with a reservation, were greeted quite friendly when we entered this beautiful restaurant, and immediately seated. The restaurant was ample sized, the wait staff were pleasant and welcoming, we decided we would have the “salad & appetizer bar” and meat skewers, which were extremely generous in it’s selection. Then we’re served the most delicious variety of numerous cuts of meats. The food rivaled many Michelin Star restaurants, and all staff members were delightful yet one employee particularly stood out. I asked his name, he told us it was Manny and when we thanked him in Spanish, he was extremely polite, professional, and eager to go out of his way to make our evening more enjoyable. He not only brought us countless meat skewers, he offered suggestions of which dipping sauces pared best with the meats. Manny was a pleasant surprise to have come around, which our waiter too was very quick as well with beverage refills. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. We even discussed that the atmosphere is pleasant enough to have business dinners or family birthdays gatherings at because we noticed a large conference room next door.

Last night I took my partner to celebrate his 24th birthday to Fogo de Chão in Thousand Oaks. It was out first time, the food was amazing, the cooks did a great job, all the staff that brings you the meat are so polite! Very elegant. Katherine was our server and she was such a sweetheart! Made us feel very welcomed, attended to us with such a great attitude and never once made us feel rushed. Jason also attended to us as we were finishing up, and was also very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Also it was very awesome to talk with Leonardo! I over heard him speak Portuguese, so I called him over and he had a conversation with my partner who also speaks Portuguese. I loved that for my partner, because I hardly get to hear him speak Portuguese, so that was a lot of fun! My partner and I will be returning! It was a great experience!

Jayden our server was great, his manager on duty however was below standard for what I expect for customer service in a manger position. Argued with me when I requested to have my steak cooked a little more thoroughly. But Jayden made sure the item was removed from the bill and that I still had an enjoyable experience overall and I give him personally 5 stars. But management can definitely improve

Yesterday evening my family and I stopped by to have drinks and appetizers. We have never had a full buffet, but the happy hour offers are excellent. Lamb Lollipops and Cocktails were excellent. It was fine food in a very alluring setting. The all-day happy hour is a brilliant idea if your not in the mood to stuff yourself with the buffet.
The evening started off with minor glitches and issues but Assistant Manager on duty, Ingrid Krotova, smoothed over these initial difficulties. She attended to our needs was very engaging and professional in her demeanor and by the end of the meal she had healed over any initial misunderstandings by making small gestures that made us feel welcomed.
She went out her way to ensure our evening was as pleasant as possible. She made every attempt not only to make our dining experience a pleasant one but one where she also lent a hand to her wait and busing staff in the performance of their duties.
We shall return and continue to delight in the happy hour menu selections. Sometimes less, is more!
