We had an amazing experience at Thang Long. The food is absolutely fantastic — full of flavor and beautifully prepared. We came here twice during our stay, once for lunch and once for dinner, and both meals were equally impressive.
The staff is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, which made our visits even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and we truly felt at home. Highly recommended if you’re in Athens!

Fantastic Vietnamese Food Near Wyndham Grand Athens
What a wonderful surprise to find such great Vietnamese food right across from the Zeus/Wyndham Grand Hotel in Athens!
The fried duck with fried rice was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, not swimming in sauce, with amazing texture and flavor. The duck was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was balanced and well prepared.
The vegan rice rolls were also outstanding—fresh, light, and full of flavor. Truly a great option for plant-based diners as well.
Excellent quality, great presentation, and clearly made with care. Highly recommended if you’re staying in the area or visiting nearby!

Amazing, very tasty and worth of money, it has a very cute outside dining area and the waitress is amaaaaazing, so nice, helpful, very welcoming and does her job very well which makes it even better!!! The beef salad we had was INHALED, it didnt stand a chance to sit on the table for more than 5 minutes…. the udon noodles were bomb, so filling and tasty, we got crispy duck and chicken, so worth it, splendid taste. The area might not be the most amazing but at least you’re living risky and getting your best vietnamese meal, rather than going to the known, basic places in the center

We come for 4 people for dinner, everything is superb, We talking from Asian preceptive, and I’ve been live in Vietnam. Accident found it on our last night in Athens, and never regret it. Big thanks to Shakira for great service and told us everything about the menu etc. will definitely come again when we’re back to Athens and can’t wait for another Vietnam restaurant.

As we were returning from a theatre we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant and decided to give it a try. Needless to say we left more than pleased. The food was excellent and authentic while the waiters were always eager to assist and help us. Additionally the atmosphere was exquisite and our overal experience was wonderful; I would 100% recommend it!

Thang Long has a simple, authentic atmosphere that feels welcoming. The pho was tasty and comforting, the dumplings nice and soft, and the spring rolls fresh and flavorful. Overall, a good spot for Vietnamese food in Athens, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
