The environment feels at home and can feel romantic if thats what you’re there for. I went on Valentine’s Day with my Son. We just walked in. The wait was short because we sat at the bar and the environment felt great. Lights are dim just enough. We watch the Olympics on their TV.
The service was great! The waiters and bar tenders were kind and cracked jokes. We had lots of fun! They seemed liked they really cared about your experience there.
Joseph was our server, he was exceptionally friendly & helpful with our meal decision.
We’ll definitely be back again!
MAKE RESERVATIONS!!
My mom and I order a glass of wine when food came and they came basically when we were done and ready for dessert. It was busy and the server was great but that’s pretty slow for Porterhouse. One person in our party ordered a brandy water and was asked what brandy, she likes Korbel – it was $12 for the Korbel and $8 for the drink so it was a $20 drink.
My steak came out and my husband said that’s going to be salty (you could see the grains of salt on the top). It was. His didn’t have that but he said it’s because it was on the bottom and his was also salty. The lobster was salty as well which normally I’d expect and I hope they didn’t salt the lobster but it kind of tasted like they did
The potatoes were warm but like less than lukewarm. I’m surprised they even left the kitchen because you could tell looking at them that they weren’t warm. I did complain about that and they warmed them up and brought them back. They were steaming but it was just the top…they were just lukewarm at that point. They also charge extra for an gratin but didn’t say that. My parents had gone a few weeks before and the server (who they said was kind of rude about it) said that they’re like that because they just go into the oven at 3…they were there at 5. Our reservation was at 4 this time. I don’t see how a restaurant can “prep” that soon before opening. The server for my parents just kind of matter of fact stated it like that’s how it is. It shouldn’t be that way. Whether you come in at 4 or 8, food should be hot
We love the crème brûlée….not anymore….they’ve clearly changed it. The top was great but the custard part was grainy
Sorry I don’t have another picture…was disappointed so didn’t even take pictures of the food
We heard that owner may have changed so maybe that’s part of it. Also seems like a management issue and a chef issue…? We won’t be back until things change
Steamed broccoli that wasn’t even cut off the stalk. No seasoning, no grill char, no butter, no anything… just a blah steamed broccoli tree, took only one bite.
The asparagus was the same. At least char ot a bit, i know there’s a grill back there…It was ok, but very sub par for the price. I should also note that I was with a large group, and the opinions were consistent with the entire group, not just my opinion
