Been here a few times now. Always great food and atmosphere. Fish is always very fresh. Service is good and on top of everything. Always a short wait every time I’ve come. Busy is usually a good sign of great food. Gets a little loud at times but still able to hear your own table. Will definitly stop in again on my next Los Angeles visit.

Came here at 6 pm snd was already a long line.. the $16.99 combo is a great deal.. not just for lunch but also dinner!!! I had the tempura s d it was delicious! Most places are heavy coated but this place is very good to my surprise! The teriyaki beef was also very good. The sauce was just right not too sweet.. my wife also enjoyed the fish collar… service was fast and good. Definitely will come back again.! And in Wednesday… 1/2 price on lobster sashimi!!! Wow!!’

Pretty good value. My parents and relatives have come multiple times because it’s a good deal. However, I found some dishes to be bland.
The lunch set meal gets you rice, miso soup and two mains, which is more than enough food. The flavour was a little underwhelming, though. While the dishes came with dipping sauces, the cooked food, namely the mackerel and salmon collar, didn’t seem to have much seasoning, if any.
We also got half priced lobster sashimi on Wednesday. Once you’re done eating the sashimi, they take the remaining shell and cook it for you in one of three ways. We chose the yi mein, but they didn’t inform us that there would be an additional cost.

We have previously visited this establishment a few times. They offer lunch specials on a daily basis, currently offering two options for $16.95. Currently, we are enjoying sashimi with beef teriyaki and tempura roll with pork katsu. Additionally, we order chicken udon due to our children’s preference against raw fish. The meal comes with soup, salad, and rice.
Each table is provided with edamame prior to the order. Currently, they are offering a 10% discount. This offer represents an excellent deal. The service was exceptional and exceptionally attentive. Their decor is quite attractive and there is ample space for a private party. Furthermore, this establishment is ideal for children as it is also family-friendly. We highly recommend it!

Came for lunch special, I had the sashimi and tempura shrimp roll. Fish is fresh, and thick cut. Roll is good. Might need to look around a bit for parking during lunch.

This is my third time dining here, and this time we ordered the $550 set menu. The portion size was generous, and the dishes were amazing. The red snapper sashimi was incredibly tender, the lobster sashimi was refreshing and crunchy, and there was a wide variety of sashimi in the sashimi salad. The spicy and numbing pig’s trotters were soft and sticky, providing a satisfying combination of flavors. There were seven of us, and we couldn’t finish it all; we ended up taking a lot home. Highly recommend this set menu.

The food was good. One complaint – no fried shrimp head with the sashimi. I pretended to be brave. I devoured all the head juices. I live to tell! Tempura was light and crunchy, the way one would expect. Once I ate in Japan next to the frying wok, I recall that experience and this was remotely like that. The atmosphere is much to be desired in my opinion. It looked somewhat like a steak house with dark decor, glass doors, mirrors, booths et al. The place is clean. But showing dated designs. We were easy, wait staff made 1 stop with us and that was all. The rest of the meal, the bussing staff took care.
Princes are competitive. Lunch specials were under $20. It’s japanese so portions are small. We went on a weekend, it was not crowded. This would not be a place I would frequent. It’s ok, no drawing power, no special feature, not cheap, no giant portion. No party piece I guess. Little Tokyo is not too far. Yes, parking is much easier here.

For the price, the sushi, sashimi, hand rolls and specialty rolls are very good. I wasn’t impressed with the Chinese dishes. Many are mainland Chinese style where bones and bone fragments are normal in these dishes, making these hard to eat for someone not used to bite carefully and then spitting out bones in front of guests, etc. It may be acceptable in China and in front of Chinese guests.

No complaints about the food quality. But I think it’s a bit overpriced. Other places I’ve been to offer better price with the same quality. The server who took our orders seemed like he wasn’t very happy to answer our questions. Probably we ordered too little? Lol…

The special price menu in the lobby is good for lunch and dinner everyday. It’s very good value with large portions, unlimited salad and edamame, it also had a 10% discount as well. My friend took me to this restaurant for lunch. I had been back five times with my friends and family. We will come back again!
