My fiance and I ate here last night right around 6:00, and as soon as we got home we were both throwing up rather violently. Called to let the manager know and she was nice, but she said she’d “try to figure out what on the bar was bad,” and then offered to have a manager make a meal as comp. I’m really not interested in eating anything from here again, so I turned her down. Posted in the Poteau facebook group just to see if anyone else got sick last night, and every reply has been about how dirty it is in the kitchens (a lot of these replies being from former employees) and how people get sick here every time they come and now refuse to come back here. Wish I’d realized the reputation before I came and got so violently sick that I busted capillaries all over my face and had to miss work this morning because I’m still sick from it.

1st time we been to this location we got there around 4pm we expected everything to be hot and fresh on the food bar and it wasn’t. Went to the bathroom before I left toilet was stopped up and water was everywhere. Service not very attentive at all it was slow when we was there all the waiters was standing up by the food bar just talking had to go ask for more plates and more drink…I doubt we will be back

I had the porterhouse.
Genuinely have no complaints on that at all. I told them I wanted medium rare and that’s precisely what they gave me. I had French fries as my side and it came with the salad as well so all in all it was pretty damn good. it was my first time in a Western Sizzlin and definitely not my last. I enjoyed it immensely

This just might be the worst food bar I have ever seen. The salad bar was good, but most of the entrees appeared inedible. They were dark in color and appeared soggy. I think they’ve been reheated multiple times. The mashed potatoes were inedible until a worker said “let me mix some water in those, they’re a little pasty”. Most of the dessert bar was inedible as well. All bread items were hard as a rock. It disappoints me to say, but I would not spend your money here.
