Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got a jalapeño cheddar egg chees and sausage biscuit and it it awful. The bottom of the biscuit is way too hard and taste terrible. Happens every time but I think I need to leave a review for it to possibly change. I keep getting it I guess because I think oh it’s just a one time thing but every time is getting old.

This biscuit and gravy is so damn nasty it’s crazy. Gravy is thick not watery. The girl at window was so damn ride to say the least. No hello how u doing, good morning, thank you has a nice day. Just had a stinky mean mugging ugly face on. She is definitely not a morning person and should not be greeting people or taking orders.

Staff is very friendly and the fries are always hot and fresh from this location. Multiple visits to this location and the fries have been consistently fresh. Guitars line the walls in this location. Even one autographed by The Beach Boys.

I had always heard about Whataburger so when visiting Texas for the first time, we had to give it a shot…ended up eating there 3 times in a week! SO GOOD! Better than California’s “famous” In and Out by far AND had more options. Prices are good considering the quality and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend!!!

The place is quiet once you go in the door. Everybody seems to love the drivethru. There is an absolutely delicious Cupfection that has chocolate, caramel, brownie, and ice cream in it that is sublime. If you are not counting calories, and you have $6.00, I would highly recommend you try this treat.

I’ve gone to this location multiple times, always in the evening/night. Food is always good. However, I’m not sure if they run slower at night or what, but every time I go my wait time is at least 20 minutes. I only ever order a chicken sandwich, and 75% of the time I’ve had to pull up to the curb and keep waiting till they brought it out to me. Not sure what about a chicken sandwich takes so long to make? Employees are nice, though.
