My husband loves Indian food; I often have trouble with the heat/spiciness. I was delighted to discover India’s Flame, where the servers gave us good, clear advice on which dishes were intrinsically spicier, and which dishes worked well together. We both enjoyed our choices: chicken tikka masala for him, chicken biryani for me, naan for both. As it was our first visit we both ordered them mild; that was fine for me but my husband will try medium next time. Portions were generous: about half the biryani came home. I’d like to try their lunch buffet, to explore more options than two people can reasonably sample at one sitting. We also saw several people come in for take-out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch buffet! My first time here & the AYCE lunch buffet is well-stocked with quite a variety of choices for a small restaurant. The server, who I believe may be an owner, seated our large group immediately, and explained that the lunch buffet comes with chai tea self-served at the buffet and naan bread that he brought to the table separately. We were given a choice of garlic or butter naan bread. The naan was slightly crispy with a chewy middle that was cooked just right, and was plentiful. The buffet had what was described as 3 meat & 3 vegetarian dishes, all delicious & mild enough to eat for all palates. Many flavorful sauces. I particularly liked the lentils dish. There was also fruit & desserts. The buffet itself was clean & sparkling, and each item was well-stocked. Overall, food was great, service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Worth coming back again & again!

One of the best North Indian restaurants in the Valley! The buffet is fantastic with a great selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

They offer a buffet and everything looked great we ended up ordering from the menu though and got the samosas, the paneer tikka masala lvl 3, garlic naan, and a chicken appetizer (can’t remember the name) and everything was so delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful, loved this place

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding every dish was full of rich, authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, the naan was fresh and soft, and the biryani was aromatic and cooked to perfection.

Dhania Chutnee served with papads as appetizer (gratis!) was really fresh with quality ingredients.
Had Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer with butter naan and garlic naan. Rice came along with the dishes. Everything was extremely flavorful, very well prepared and tasty.
Service was excellent – water was refilled regularly and we were made to feel very welcome.
Food quantity was sufficient and very good value for the money. Absolutely on the repeat list!

This is my favorite Indian food place. They do a lunch buffet all week, the food is high quality and they have a large selection of food available for it. The staff is quick and attentive. The garlic naan is delicious. Nice music playing at a quiet volume in the background.

I’m British so I love Indian food and I’m really happy that this place is around the corner. The decor inside is very bright and clean. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We ordered a chicken Korma and butter naan between 2 people. We were both full by the end of the meal and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Paid 70 dollars for 1 tandoori chicken, 2 curry dishes, 3 Naan bread and only recieved one small thing of rice. Tried this place because I missed good flavorful food. Being middle eastern I love food with flavor. The first couple times I ordered here was great. We were sent home with 2 things of rice and the Tikka masala was pretty good considering theirs so many Indian restaurants that have tikka that taste the same. I unfortunately have health issues and have to have a family friend pick my food up and I buy him dinner as well and he gets the tandoori chicken and the Daal curry. He loved it until this last trip when he was treated rudely as was I when I called to get a price breakdown because no receipt was sent to email. The tandoori chicken this time tasted different and wasn’t that beautiful red color it’s known for. After being told they changed the recipe and stopped using RED FOOD COLOR(he actually said that) i was told to bring it back for a refund. My family friend is 76 years old, he doesn’t want to drive back and return it after all the issues and being tired. I was put on hold so they could pull the receipt up and see if the email was sent because we didn’t get it and I was hung up on. I thought about calling back but to be honest I’m so disappointed at how this was handled. To tell me thats how much rice comes with 2 curries… and thats what the tandoori chicken is suppose to look like because they did a recipe without food coloring…without letting us know they changed it before we ordered and left with the food no less… to arguing on the phone… and then being hung up on, blown away. The pricing online and ordering online are completely different from ordering at the restaurant as well. Just shameful to treat customers that way and not try to make it right. Being middle eastern I know how tandoori chicken is made and where that red color comes from so to say it’s because they didn’t put food coloring in it is shameful. They probably thought I wouldn’t know better because my family friend is a white 76 yrd old man who picked the food up. He also knows better from his travels. Would not recommend this place if your a white American person because apparently they think your dumb enough to be told tandoori chicken is made with red food coloring…good thing I recorded this encounter because it sounds unbelievable. The tikka marsala and tandoori you can see the difference. Usually tje tandoori is a much deeper red than the tikka. But according to them it’s all because of the red food coloring they used before? I mean really. ‍♀️

Food was average – we ordered paneer achari and raita and naan, samosas were great , price range was good as well and had variety of menu options ! We went in like hour before closing so maybe that can be a reason ! It was super
Clean though.
