Excellent food and great local feel. Loved the tables by the water where we could watch all the action…. Chickens, boats, pelicans. It was a very special spot. The service was great too – warm and friendly- even though we don’t speak Spanish. Garlic shrimp was yummy and generous and snapper filet creole style was scrumptious and a HUGE portion. Can’t beat it!

Great location where you can order your food and then go sit across the street in front of the beach to enjoy the views and breeze. They will holler at you when your food is ready! The crab alcapurrias, the pastelillos de chapín, and the coconut arepas are flavorful and very fairly priced, so it makes for a perfect regular spot for repeat visits. They also have a wonderful fish broth that goes really well with a freshly made coconut arepa. For $30 we fed a hungry group of three. Great prices and great flavors. Definitely a favorite stop anytime I’m in Las Croabas.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Racar Sea Food! The welcoming atmosphere and quick seating set the tone for a delightful meal. ️ Opted for the shrimp dish and it did not disappoint – delicious and generous portions left me thoroughly satisfied. I ordered salad with octopus and received canned octopus with a tiny amount of lettuce on the side. We definitely have different understanding about what salad is. I can’t even call this a dish, this is just a content of the can. Overpriced.

You have to order at the Window then they bring it to you. The food is phenomenal. The red Snapper fillet (I got mine in garlic) was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, garlic was prevalent, but not overpowering. The coconut pastry was light and flaky with a hint of coconut. The mofongo was garlicky and tender with an abundance of flavorful shrimp (8). Wonderful experience

Wow. If you want a no-fuss, sit-by-the-beach-and-feast-and-drink place this is the one. I’d say that for real joi de vie travelers like myself this is where you’ve gotta eat. Now, don’t expect black tie waitering, it’s a counter order joint where they do take care of you. But the seafood—phenomenal. The drinks—strong. The price—well it’s okay at best but better than the surrounding restaurants for sure. Do it.
