We went to zaxbys about 45 minutes from close and had a really pleasant experience in the drive through. Amber, who I believe is a long-time employee, is always kind, respectful, and loves to joke around. We were messing around and miss Amber was such a good sport about it, we love Amber! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I considered rating this location a 3 stars out of 5 but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. The food was ok and the staff were kind but it was the lobby that made me disappointed. I felt unclean while in the lobby. It looked like the floors haven’t been mopped in a while and the tables were also quite sticky. The lobby in my opinion was not clean but when I glanced into the kitchen it looked well kept. A clean kitched is important but I wish that the care that was put into the kitched was shared with the lobby. In general I would prefer raising canes food wise.

We visited nov 9th and had two salads. Won’t be going back again as it was too cold in eating area to enjoy a meal. Everyone in there was wrapped up to wart off the cold. Asked if they could turn up the heat and gal said I’ll see what I can do. Which was nothing. I actually told wife before entering it would be COLD in there. Heads up folks it’s winter time and eating while shivering is no fun.

I’ve been a fan of Zaxby’s for the past 25 years. The chicken fingers are still quite good. Deciding that you’re not making more sweet tea more than 3 hours before closing is either poor planning or poor service. Good sweet tea is one of the selling points and the lack of it was awfully disappointing on this trip.

Zaxby’s is the go to place if youre craving tender,hot,juicy chicken strips and fries. They also have wings which I havent tried but I was impressed with the portions and how our meals came in a styrofoam clamshell just in case we couldn’t finish everything. Zaxby’s sauce is definitely amazing and I wish I could buy it by the bottle to add to other food items when Im home. Upon entering I was impressed with the cleanliness and noticed the manager going out to sanitize every table that had a guest that had just eaten and left. The staff were friendly and the menu is easy to read. I also liked that it had to flatscreens up high to watch the Chief’s play. I loved the selection of beverages but did notice the specialty Diet Dr.Pepper sodas were unavailable so I settled for regular diet Dr.pepper. I feel like my three piece chicken strip meal and fries was definately worth the price and I will be returning again when Im in KC.
