Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant, located just outside The Villages in Wildwood. If you’re looking for a “reliable favorite” rather than a fine-dining experience, Los Magueyes hits the mark. It’s the kind of place where the chips are thin and crispy, the salsa has a nice kick, and you’re almost guaranteed to leave with a to-go box.The margaritas are generous. They don’t skimp on the tequila, and the flavor variety (like passion fruit) is a nice step up from the standard lime mix.

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday and shared a Chorizo Cheese dip (very good) and Texas Fajitas. The food was delicious and loved the Fajitas served up on a sizzling platter, served with 3 home made flour tortillas. We ordered extra flour tortillas for $2 and two drinks for $3.50 each. Overall, food and service were good.

We love this place! We found it our first week in town and have been there twice. The food has been spot on every time. The service is fantastic, really great folks working there! I loved my skinny margaritas so much. I’m starting to collect a little duckies. I had a taco salad with chicken and it was great flavor. My husband had the flautas and it was the best he said he’s ever had. The other time we went we had the fajitas with Shrimp and I couldn’t believe how much was in the order. Great Mexican food! Will be our go to!

I’ve had good service, but coming here was PHENOMINAL. We didnt even have time to look at the menu before our waiter was at our table ready to take our order, and they had our drinks out faster than we could blink. Besides the confusing sign about not putting toilet paper in the toilet, which was more funny than anything, id definitely come back again.

This place used to be so good. Margs are good and strong but food is sub par at best. The server was pushy about ordering but never brought us water with our drinks. My husband had to go to the bar to ask for a water for our daughter who was choking on chips. The server hardly came back to the table so I couldn’t complain about my food until my husband and daughter were done eating. I ordered Birria and found a raw mushroom and broccoli in it? Lost my appetite. They did offer to remake my food but my daughter was fussing and ready to go. They weren’t even busy so overall just disappointing.
