Once we sat down, nobody came to wait on us. We went to the bar to ask for a waiter and then 5 min later someone came. We didn’t get our drinks right away. We had to ask for another waiter to get our drinks. The food took over 45 min to make, and then was barely warm when we got it. The food we got tasted weird as well. Now the morning after we are all struggling with stomach issues if you what I mean. So all in all, the service was very poor, and food was not good.

The food at The Sawmill is actually good, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended for us. We had to wait an extremely long time for our food, far longer than what would be considered reasonable, especially given how hungry everyone was getting by the time it finally arrived.
On top of that, the entire place smelled strongly like weed. It was noticeable as soon as we walked in and never went away. It really took away from the dining experience and isn’t something you expect or want when you’re out to eat.
Good food doesn’t make up for long wait times and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, it was disappointing and not somewhere I’d rush to return to.

Ordered fountain pop, and a djohn chicken schnitzel sandwich with sweet potato fries. The pop was diluted, the sandwich was supposed to be smothered in cheese and honey mustard sauce, instead it’s sliced cheese and a dab of mustard. Overall sandwich was dry but the fries were good. I asked for extra mustard, and waitress brought me a small cup of mustard that looked like had spit in it so I didn’t touch it. Person working behind the bar was decent but served people that walked in after me before bothering to serve me. The atmosphere was neat and probably the best part. They did give me free drink coins that I can use next time I go there but probably not. I thought it would’ve have been better.

Food was OK. Fried pickle chips were probably the best thing we had. The fajita chicken wrap was just ok. Be careful to ask how much if they ask if you want to add avocado. It was an extra $2.50 on a $15 wrap.

This is a very nice place to eat. Good food! Fast service! Wheel chair accessible. The ambiance was lovely. I liked the authentic decor of the place. Rustic. Sawmillish. 🙂 plenty of parking. There’s two outside areas, inside, bar and upstairs to choose from for eating. I didn’t see the upstairs. But the other areas were lovely. The only thing I was disappointed in is the online menu has said you could get your soup in a bread bowl. But they no longer do that. So that could use an update.

I ordered this on door dash, never having tried it before. I usually will go for a French dip if available, but I wanted to try their chicken wrap because it was listed as their most popular
A chicken wrap is a simple thing generally, yet so many places screw it up. Not wrapped well, a poor mixture of ingredients, flavor profile not good, sauce to much or to little.
Well let me tell you, this place NAILED the chicken wrap. Possibly the best one I’ve ever had, and wrapped perfectly!

First time eating here. Never again. Got our order wrong with our burger. Ask for soup, forgot to bring it. Finally brought it, it was very cold. Different server every time they came to our table. So they had no clue what was going. They acknowledged that they screwed up our meal said sorry, we’re super busy today and that was it. Still had to pay for everything for this very bad experienc. Never come back to this restaurant.

Pretty cool looking place and gives off a good vibe. Friendly people to chat with at the bar so it hit my checklist which is pretty minimal. The service was lacking. Just seemed to take a long time to get a drink or a food order placed with a low-moderate population in the building. The food wasn’t bad, I was told they are known for their burgers and it really was just a decent bar burger, nothing I will remember if you know what I mean! They did have other dinner options which I’d be curious in trying. All in all, just a regular bar but a fair place for some food and some conversation.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Our server, Paige, was delightful I had the new Chicken Shwarma, which was yummy. My fiancee had the taco salad, which he said was good but the shell underneath gets hard to cut – making it kind of messy. And my dad had a cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup, which he said was pretty darn good. Come here hungry, leave absolutely full
