I called in my order over the phone. Mark was rude, sarcastic and rushing me through my order. One example: One of the many items I ordered was a fudge brownie delight which comes hot so I asked to have the hot fudge or ice cream separate so that it would not melt. He told me he would have to charge me for a cup. I said well I have always gotten it made separate with no extra charge. Duh..it’s a togo order. I really shouldn’t have to ask for that accommodation. Anything hot with ice cream is gonna melt it almost instantly. So that should be common since to not make togo ice cream orders with hot toppings together. When my daughter got there all 3 different ice cream items was already made and the food wasn’t even ready yet. She questioned it and they kept saying well the order is already paid for. So yes all the ice cream was melted when I got it home… I live less than 5 minutes away..the one thing I requested not to happen they let it happen along with the bad customer service. Also he told me the wrong total. When I got the receipt it was more than what he told me.

This Mayberry’s is located close to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. I left the hospital after an early Drs appointment and went by to get a hotdog and a chocolate sundae, unfortunately they were not open yet and I had to get on the road. I will return to get a sundae or banana split when on this side of town again to see if they are still as good as I remember from years ago.

We have been coming to Mayberry’s for over 40 years. Our kids grew up eating hot dogs and ice cream. The bean and bacon soup is great. The wait staff is wonderful!

Our family loved it here! The food was great, and the server was super nice. They had a ton of choices of ice cream. They even had a few low sugar choices. We love the feel of the ice cream palor.

The food was great! And the service was awesome. Love the small soda shoppe feel. I got the brownie sundae but changed the vanilla to mint chip ice cream. Highly recommend! The brownie was warm and soft. Really like this place. Will definitely be back!

I really like the customer service here! The employees were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time. My food came out super fast, and everything was fresh and exactly how I ordered it. You can tell the staff really cares about giving customers a great experience. Overall, the service was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Went here for my 25th birthday with my family. All 8 of us sat comfortably and enjoyed delicious burgers and hot dogs. Our waitress Wendy made ordering all our food a breeze and brought any deals or specials to our attention to help us save some money. We finished the dining experience with the lock stock and barrel; this had plenty of ice cream for everyone. We plan on coming back and I highly encourage a visit to this wonderful diner. They have sit down tables for family diner, and they also have an ice-cream bar for the hot weather.

Love the ambiance of a vintage I’ve cream parlor… The walls are covered in pictures from the past, you can lunch or dinner but we came for the ice cream… They close at 10:00 and we arrived at 9:30 so we were going to get the big ice cream for $23.00 but we didn’t want them to wait on us so we got the show boats instead which was 4 scoops of ice cream and covered in sauces walnuts whipped cream sitting in between 2 bananas… It was amazing and we can’t wait to come back

I have heard for years about this place being a staple in the Winston Salem and truly North Carolina community. Yet, I’m not a big sweets person. I didn’t know that someday berry’s are restaurants.
We came around lunch. I got a burger and fries. It was pretty good. Nothing super special but the atmosphere brought me back k to simpler times. You can think of it as an ice crea parlor with simple amaerican food.
Now their bread and butter is ice cream. They are really good at it by focusing on the usually flavors with a few special combinations. I got strawberry cheesecake and banana pudding. So good. If you are in the mood for a simple meal with a sweet ending, I would recommend this place.
