I love excellent cuisine combined with first rate service, if you can find that combination in a local restaurant, sign me up!
The menu is inventive and diverse with a multitude of tempting options. The highlights for me were both one of the very best beef tartare dishes I have had anywhere in the world (I travel a lot and that is one of my favorites.)

Their specialty is duck and they take four days to prepare their version of this extraordinary dish. Every dish we ordered was special even including their gourmet burger as well as a perfectly executed trout.

I will definitely be back!

Truly one of the best dining experiences in Denver! We celebrated our anniversary here, and the team went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. From the thoughtful complimentary mocktails to the impeccable service, every detail was top-notch. Thank you for making our night so special—we will definitely be back!

Have been wanting to try Bistro for a while and went for a Sunday Brunch Date. We were told they were understaffed that day but we still felt taken care of.

The food was really good as we got the Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. Also got a side of fries and drinks. My better half ordered the wrong drink and they offered to take it off but we kept it anyway and I drank it. Bloody Mary and the Alice Tea were both great as well. Oh and the beignets were awesome but something I can’t recommend enough was the coffee flavored cream that came with them… Damn was it delicious! We will definitely be coming back for dinner. Thanks Yall!

To be honest I felt like this was such a letdown. We went to movie night for Amelie, a quirky French film, with a themed $65 4 course ($88 w/ included tip which the excellent staff deserve!). The menu was a seasoned popcorn, beets with bread, cauliflower and squash with an Italian tuna sauce, a very dry navy bean “cassoulet” with half a spongy sausage as the meat on top, and the only saving grace – their crème brûlée which was delicious and on a totally different level than the other dishes. These foods were elevated for what they are, but incredibly cheap ingredients – and I can’t say I saw any connection with the movie through them besides the dessert ( lots of food is featured in the film for inspiration…and not Italian tuna sauce). The chef did great considering (except the navy bean “cassoulet” which was-bad) but it felt like they sent him to a soup kitchen to get ingredients.

Photo of the menu for you to check out and decide for yourself.

My spouse and I have been here twice now, and after having been to France, the food is pretty delicious and on-par with what you see on menus over there at very affordable prices ($170 for one appetizer, two entree, 2.5 glasses of wine, one chocolate souffle).

Classic Parisian Bistro food – the bread, the butter, the wine. The escargot is on a *secret menu* so we have yet to sample it and intend to on a future trip.

Absolutely loved the Duck Confit (special) – it should really replace the regular canard entree in my opinion. This dish feels more French and the shishito peppers in the primary entree feel distracting, but don’t take away from the dish.

Will be back!

I have come to Vendome at its old location and new location for 12 years. The food has never once failed to be delicious, the staff are amazingly friendly, and there is nowhere better for a birthday dinner. I love how I never have the same thing twice, but they always have a duck, a fish, etc. Different sauces and sides make it a culinary adventure every time!

The food is authentically French bistro and the service is excellent. The restaurant owner even came out to discuss gluten free options with my niece and my family and I greatly appreciated that. The only complaint I have is the choice of music being piped through the restaurant. I’m not a big fan of American Top 40 and I think French music, in all its variants would have been more appropriate. All in all, I highly recommend this place for a memorable family/friends brunch.

Everything about the restaurant was excellent. We had the mussels, the steak fritte and the trout and all were excellent. Oh yes and the fresh hot bread was as well. We also had no problems finding a place to park but it was a Tuesday night. We learned of this restaurant through our membership with the Tasting Collective (which is an amazing way to explore restaurants and get to know the chefs). We were missing the opportunity to go here so tried on our own. Highly recommend .

Definitely recommend this lovely bistro! Tucked into a beautiful area in Denver and fill of atmosphere. The lamb croquettes for appetizer were a wonderful taste experience and the Monte Cristo was unique and delicious. We went during a relatively uncrowded time (brunch) but be advised it can get busy at peak hours. Service was very on point and staff was very cordial. Don’t miss this beautiful little French dining experience if you’re in the area. Prices are high mid-range but the food and atmosphere are completely worth it. Highly recommend.
