Friends is your neighborhood grill & bar. We are locally owned with locations in Dacula, Dawsonville, Winder, Buford, Bethlehem, Cumming, Jefferson and Clayton, GA. In business since 2010, Friends is a casual restaurant with great, fresh food, as well as a full bar. So, come in for a meal, or to have a drink with a friends, or to watch some sports on TV. Tried a new restaurant on a whim cause I was craving a burger. Little did I know I would end up finding me and my fiancés new favorite spot. Wings are a good size and crispy the burgers thick and juicy. Service was great. And a classic Americana atmosphere. You gotta love it

I discovered this restaurant near my home and had a great time! It has a lively sports bar vibe but still feels very relaxed and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Prices were fair for the portion sizes, and the overall value was great. The staff were super friendly . I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy good food and a chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Trevor was such a pleasure, he was very detail-oriented. It was not very busy but he was at our table often and very friendly. He answered every question to the best of his ability. My table of six enjoyed our dinner and Trevor made it so much better.

The food was excellent. It took over 10 minutes for us to get served though. Several of the wait staff walked by our table and didn’t seem interested in serving us, which was not great. But we did eventually get a great waitress.

My family and I went in yesterday (9/4) for my father’s/nieces birthday. We had about 23 people so we were sat in a separate room where there was no one but us. The server who sat us and served us was great, super friendly and made sure EVERYTHING was correct, but upon walking into this other room, we noticed a man asleep at one of the bigger tables right beside the door? Figured out that it was the general manager! Ken and Kianna need to do some rethinking because I can’t think of anything more unprofessional. Besides a sleeping general manger during a late night rush, our service was amazing and our food/drinks we ordered from the bar were great too. I typically never write reviews, if I have an issue at the restaurant then I immediately ask for a manager, but it seems fitting to let everyone know who gets hired for larger positions these days.

One of the few entries around. Great bar food & drinks. Also the service was perfect in the middle of the afternoon. Had the Shrimp tacos and 4th of July burger. Friends special. They were different menu items. Long Island was good too.

I made a mistake on my order and the owner Kyanna and manager Ken took care of fixing it. They gave me great customer service. This reastrant really goes out of their way to build customer loyalty. They also have the best food around.

My family and I happened to be in the area doing some Christmas shopping and on our return trip home, we stopped into this Friends location to eat.
We’ve been to the Jefferson, Commerce, and Winder locations as well, but this one seemed most fitting to the space it was placed in overall. It was very nice!
The food was the same as the others. It’s not the best but it will do. Honestly, the only thing we think that is really done well are the wings…and that’s what we ordered. But it’s all bar food so you get what you get and that is what you expect. No big deal.
The biggest influence on me writing this review was our server Maddie. She was hands down one of the top three best servers I’ve had at ANY restaurant in the last 20 years. She was attentive but not overly intrusive, super friendly, everything was correct, she was funny (even my kids thought she was hilarious), and made sure our visit was one of the best.
When I asked her how long she had been working there, I was shocked to find out she had been working for different Friends locations for several years, but was still only a server. When I asked her about this, she said she loves working with people and making them happy…and that truly shows in her personality and service!
It is so unusual to find someone so young that has her “go-getter” attitude working in the restaurant industry anymore. Most are so lazy and want a tip for doing nothing. That is not at all what we experienced with her. It would really benefit all the Friends restaurants to have her train your incoming servers at all locations because we definitely have not had that same service.
We live 45 minutes away from this location but it’s worth the drive of that kind of service, bypassing your other locations, just to have that. I hope the managers and owners know what kind of gem they have in this one and they hold onto her!

Love the new menu items especially the fried tomatoes. Sat us down quickly got our drinks ordered and brought to us in a reasonable time. All our food came out in a timely manner and was prepared correct and hot.
