The service in the dining are was great, but the service at the front counter was lacking in kindness a d compassion. The best way to describe this type of person is to say that she either doesn’t care for her job or she must have very quickly became irritated because I initially sat down in the counter area they gave for customers like me that are eating alone and or as I did felt that by sitting in this location, I wouldn’t take up an entire booth by myself, plus when you’re alone and stop for breakfast it’s nice to be able to get a seat and get your order in ASAP so you can get in and out quickly. So I sat in this location, but as I watched several employees peek their heads out or were casually walking passed the area none of them greated me nor did they get the service personal heads up that I was there. As I waited for acknowledgement time slowed down to a snails pace. So I decided to sit in the main lounge section hoping I would get service a lot quicker. As I got up and moved that way, she noticed me and I told her exactly why I was moving and she said I would get service just as fast where I was as I would get out there, but that wasn’t happening. Hence this was why I got up to move in the first place. Her attitude was one with a sudden irritation for my decision to move and I felt like this put a bad taste in her mind about the type of customer I was which means she had judged me completely based on my wanting to be noticed quickly to at least get a cup of coffee right away. When I paid the bill said $14.95, and I left a cash tip at my table for the very kind ,hard working server. So out of twenty dollar bill, my change was maybe two to three dollars, so I mentioned my leaving a tip at my served table because it was either a lot of tax or an upcgarge or tip she added to my bill for me to get so little change back. Regardless, I just left and as I walked outside ,I realized she never offered me a receipt. That should never happen ever anywhere as far as Im concerned. Seems fishy to me.

We came in for Valentine’s Day, our server was very new but very helpful and nice. The food was great, we had a Denver omelette and Denver skillet. Everyone was very nice, no worries on coffee refills.

First of the Hostess was amazing Leanna was friendly when I called to check on seating availability. Reservations ARE NOT NEEDED HERE, like Google says. Once we arrived we were quickly seated and our waitress Kristen was patient and attentive, we had a chatty group and weren’t sure what we wanted but she was helpful. The food was great, minus the French dip, my daughter and mother got it and the meat was a little bland, bread not crisp and au ju was kind of bland. I ended up trading my halibut burger to my mom after I grabbed half of it so she could have some cause it was really good. Lol but all other dishes we got were great. My sister had a natural turkey sandwich toasted, my son had the mushroom Swiss burger, and my dad had a veggie omlette. I do recommend this place for the service, atmosphere, and some good comfort food. Prices were about average around 15 per person.

You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in their restaurant. It is really beautiful and feels like 20th century. I had omelet and hash browns for dinner and wife had a ribeye and mash potatoes. The food could have been a little hotter but no complaints on taste. We will be coming back again.

The food is delicious Great variety. They use top grade meats. We had breakfast and it was more than enough to eat. We’ve been there for dinner as well. The prices are a little high but the quality of food is high grade. The dessert are homemade and absolutely worth trying.

I recently visited Sweetwater’s Restaurant with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with over-medium eggs, hash browns, and toast. My son had the same, and his girlfriend ordered the French toast with eggs and bacon.

The food itself was good . the chicken fried steak was very tasty, and the bacon had a great flavor. Our server was excellent: she was respectful, attentive, and clearly knew what she was doing. She checked on us at the right times and really checked all the boxes for great service.

The real issue here is the price. Nearly $20 per person for basic breakfast food is just too much, especially at a small mom-and-pop place. My chicken fried steak was $17.60, and the French toast meal was $16. These are not luxury dishes or five-star restaurant portions they’re standard breakfast plates.

While we enjoyed the food and appreciated the great service, I cannot justify the cost. For an average family, the prices are simply outrageous. Unfortunately, because of this, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Sweetwater’s to others looking for a reasonably priced meal.

The customer service was terrible. Got there 45 min before closing and had the front and seater make sure to tell us they close at 2!! I understand you close at 2 but you have paying customers wanting to spend money at your location!! We left and will be taking our money elsewhere and will not be back. I will make sure I share my experience with anyone that ask about the service at this restaurant. I work at a place where people ask for good places to go and eat, believe me I will make sure they know not to try this place!!!

Well sorry to say that this restaurant has let greed ruin them. This used to be a great restaurant with large portions of good food. Now the portions are tiny and the food quality is just not there anymore. This will be the last time I will go back.
