Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The Urban Rebar offers a unique dining experience with a creative menu and plenty of vegan, gluten-free, and fresh-juice options. It’s a great place to try something different and enjoy a relaxed evening. The Almond burger is something which we never had before and would recommend, and is a must try.

Had a great experience at Urban Rebarn! The food was delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. Everything tasted amazing and well-prepared. I especially recommend trying their in-house beer, fresh juice taco, and monk curry — all packed with flavor and freshness. The place has a great vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot I’d visit again. Highly recommended!

The 3 Sisters Enchiladas were absolutely delicious. I originally thought this place would be more of a Tex-Mex style restaurant, so it was a bit different from what I expected—but in the best possible way. The flavors were impressive and really stood out.
Earlier today, I took a seaplane to Victoria, and because it was very windy, the flight was quite rough and left me feeling dizzy. I honestly thought I wouldn’t have much of an appetite for dinner. However, once I started eating here, my appetite completely came back. The food was comforting, flavorful, and surprisingly energizing. Highly recommended

So great to rediscover this gem in downtown by Bastion Square! It has become a regular stop for dine in and take out for months now. First, the service is always excellent. Staff like Lexy and Rudy are a delight. Food is always consistent and flavourful, super fresh, and portions are generous! Great food and value. They even turned me into a soup lover. Lots of healthy, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend Urban Rebar and will definitely be back soon! So happy to see that Urban Rebar is still a gem under the new ownership! They’ve successfully maintained the core of what made it great: the fresh, healthy, and vegan-friendly menu and the famously friendly staff. My friend and I went there first one evening just to get a smoothie and they were fantastic! We went back for smoothies, a couple of nights later and lunch the next day. The almond veggie burger was outstanding and my friend’s salmon burger was wonderful as well. Nice, warm, comfortable atmosphere and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended.

I eat at this place pretty regularly. The food is so good. They make gorgeous salads that you want to eat, although I usually get side salads with whatever I get on the menus. The Reuben, the enchiladas, the miso soup, the quesadilla are all delicious. Their desserts are amazing too. Highly recommend this especially for those that like healthy but substantial food, vegetarians, vegans but also pescatarians. Vegetable forward but still hearty and substantial. So good.

So happy to see Rebar back in Victoria as Urban Rebar! This place has always been a downtown classic and the new restaurant looks absolutely stunning. I tried their soup yesterday, and it was honestly one of the yummiest I’ve ever had- rich, comforting, and full of flavour. You can really taste the freshness and the care that goes into every dish.
It’s so nice to have this iconic spot back, blending the same cozy, familiar feel with a fresh modern vibe. Definitely a must-visit for anyone in downtown Victoria , whether you’re a longtime fan or trying it for the first time!

Hands down my favorite spot in the city for healthy and tasty fare! I was heartbroken to hear it was sold and might turn into an Asian Fusion restaurant…well, turns out they have stuck to their amazing menu and staff! The fresh juices are a must and the Yam Pepita Quesidillia is my all time favorite! Time to give them a first try or return ASAP!
