I ordered a tamale plate that had rice and beans, then a burrito. This was my first time ordering from here, I have ordered from a handful of Mexican restaurants, and my expectations were higher. The burrito wasn’t really special, it wasn’t what I expected for the price, you will get a burrito twice the weight for a few more dollars from catrinas.
The tamales also were disappointing, they weren’t that big, and there wasn’t much meat in them. The salsa was very watery, and so it didn’t stay on the food well. All in all it wasn’t terrible, but it could’ve been much better.

The best EVER. The ladies working here are so sweet. Prices are reasonable, especially for it being a sit down shop. The place is especially clean, nice bathrooms, and houseplants covering the area. I’m not sure why it’s empty every time I go… best healthy option in the university neighborhood in my opinion!

The portions were generous. I’m not someone who eats tacos often, so I’m not sure if I’d have them again. It kind of reminded me of the Turkish dish tantuni. The prices were cheap, and the lady at the counter was really sweet. The chicken taco was also nice — it was shaped like a sigara böreği (fried pastry roll).

Had to go back to Tacos Don Francisco after seeing a video online and try the new location. It did not dissapoint! We tried several of the tacos like the tacos de lengua, asada and tripa and the falor was great! We also ordered the wet burrito with the cheese sauce and that was so good. The chips and salsa and the queso might just be my favorite! Must try! 9.2/10.

Great filling burrito must have the steak burrito with sauce on side my GMA says try the tamale and the tacos. Steak good on the burrito. Always check to see if they have melon aguas. Bathroom always clean. Good service good attitude on the employees.laid back atmosphere where u can have private conversations and still be comfortable when leaving. #MustHaveSteakBurrito

Order the Don, steak, with everything. So dang good. I will definitely be back and I’ll bring my hubby next time. Rice was a little dry but still 5 stars. Tacos were the main attraction. Sooooo good!

Went to Don Francisco’s for a late lunch and surprised at how many folks were eating there, we thought it must be delicious! Even though they were busy, the service was fast and so friendly! The food was fresh and very delicious! The meat in all of the dishes wasn’t greasy, they tasted fresh, and like each dish was made from good quality meats. My favorite was the gorditas de pastor, but I honestly would recommend anything! You can’t go wrong eating at Don Francisco’s!

We have tried everything on the menu at least once. Generous portions, made fresh in front of you, great customer service, and very diverse customers.
I wish they would put a lot more effort into the restaurant seating area. Non slip rugs you can sweep or vacuum, more plants and nice shelving, fun, bright light strings would be very welcoming.
