Beautiful restaurant on the inside. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My boyfriend and I started off the night with a glass of wine. He got a Cab and I got a Moscato. Both were very good and well paired with our meals.

For our appetizer we got the Calamari. It was very light and flavorful. Its was lightly fried in Rice Flour so it was actually Gluten Free. I have not been able to find Calamari Ina Gluten Free version anywhere so it was nice.

I got the Strip Steak with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and house made Tater Tots. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. As for the tots and the potatoes not too much flavor there but there was some kind of jelly next to the steak and that made the flavor much better. My boyfriend got the Seafood Tasting and was super upset because they ran out of the Chilean Sea Bass and he was really looking forward to it. They did allow substitutes for that and the crab cake since it was not gluten free.

All in all I think the restaurant was pretty satisfactory. I would rate a 7/10. It didnt wow me but it was nice to have Gluten Free Calamari and they did have a nice wine list and at the end they gave us a chocolate that was peanut butter and dark chocolate. It was yummy.

We went here a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary. The atmosphere inside was so warm and welcoming. The winter decorations were charming. We had the gemelli and the seafood tasting. The meat was very tender and flavor was great. We had the brown butter crème brûlée for dessert. The dessert was fantastic.

My only complaint would be that when the waiter took my card for payment he came back and said that it declined. This was shocking as I knew that couldn’t be right, and embarrassing. I used another card and paid, assuming there must have been an issue reading the chip, and I would check it later. Walking home, I pulled out my phone and had a notification from my bank. It stated that my card was declined due to the wrong cvv being entered.

I understand mistakes happen but this really put a damper on the experience and was pretty embarrassing. I would just advise that they be more careful and detail oriented when running people’s payment.

Overall, good food. Just a bit lacking in service for my experience.

What a wonderful dinner. The service was superb, the waitress explained each of the dishes, very attentive. Food arrived timely. Ordered the short rib and seafood tasting. Both were excellent. Had the crab cake as an appetizer which was also magnificent. And to top it off we had the Eleven Grand Candy Bar. I would highly recommend.

Unable to get reservations days in advance, instead we arrived early (5PM) and were easily able to get a nice table for six. While a smaller restaurant it was a popular spot so not quiet but conversation was still easy.
Plenty of staff and very attentive to our needs. Food all looked wonderful. Started with some nice oysters on the half shell, cold and tasty – I found the hot sauce very hot, be careful ! My short rib was fantastic and the sides complemented the main. I’m not crazy about squash but the purée was spectacular !
Nice dessert menu but most of us went for the Eleven Grand Bar , the obvious choice for those who like chocolate.
Highly recommended.

We were supposed to go see Colin Jost last night. But since he decided to bobsled instead, we decided to keep the rest of our plans. We tried Eleven for the first time. For starters, I had the tuna tartare and my wife had the seared scallops with red yam coconut curry, radishes, cucumber, and peanuts. I really liked the tuna tartare. So did my wife. I would have just liked a tad more of the ponzu saice. I could have eaten a triple portion and called it a night. The scallops were surprisingly good. It all came together for a nice balanced app. For mains, we ordered the NY Strip with mash and broccolini and the grilled swordfish with the rock shrimp risotto. Both were excellent. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I’ve always said the best steaks in town are not found at steakhouses, but at fine dining establishments. The swordfish was seared nicely. The risotto was cooked perfectly and had a nice amount of shrimp. I didn’t taste fennel though. But that didn’t ruin the dish. Jeanne, our waitress, as attentive, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and made dinner enjoyable. Overall, I am going to give Eleven 1/2 out of 5. — at Eleven.

UPDATE: We were reimbursed a small amount on our overall bill. We’re not sure if we will give them a second chance, but at least they were trying to satisfy the disappointment. Since we live over 90 min. away, we do not go to Pittsburgh unless it’s for a specific occasion. The review has been adjusted from two stars to three.

My husband and I dined here yesterday for their Valentine’s menu. We left hungry. The portions of each course were VERY small. For the entree selection, I ordered the sea bass and my husband ordered the NY strip steak (both pictured). What came was literally three slices of steak and my portion of sea bass was a square approximately 2in. x 2in. We wanted to taste each other’s meal, but quite frankly, there was only THREE bites for each of us. Now, this isn’t the first fine dining experience for us. We have dined at Altius, Meat & Potatoes, and Monterey Bay Fish Grotto among others. This was the first time we each ordered our own dessert instead of sharing one (perhaps that was the point – get people to spend even MORE money) and we STILL left hungry. If you eat here – tip: grab a bite somewhere else beforehand or pack a sandwich for when you leave.

We had dinner here on 10/08/2025, we felt welcomed from the time we walked in the door. We had a glass of wine waiting for our table, it was happy hour. Prices were what you would expect for fine dining. Makayla our server was fabulous she took very good care of us, I ask for suggestions and she was spot on. She was very friendly and was there literally 10 seconds before we needed her. Food was amazing

I firstly want to start off by saying- Our server Bobby was such a delight! He was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The whole staff seemed well coordinated and friendly/welcoming. The atmosphere is dim lit with great music choice. The food was delicious! Easily accommodated 4 people. I will be back. Once again, thank you to our server Bobby.

Where to start? From the moment we walked through the doors and before we were welcomed with such an unbelievably friendly staff, from the valets, the hostess, servers and everyone in between. (The valets were exceptionally accommodating)
The food was excellent! I had the seafood sampler and my husband had the swordfish.
The desserts… The presentation was impressive to say the least. But tasted even better. The attention to detail, compliments to the pastry chef! The atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely return and recommend.
