In the beginning, on August 7, 1985, Cabrera’s Family Restaurant first opened their doors to the locality of Arcadia California as a business venture of Mexican-American restaurant. Today, Cabrera’s Mexican Cuisine operates and owns 3 localities with a professional enterprise that specializes in Mexican-American food and other dishes that are served with a very Mexican style. The personalized focus of Cabrera’s Mexican Cuisine, combined with the recognition of the business, serving delicious and fresh food, provides our various ranges of clients with a unique consistent experience. It was really good eating here. The seats are comfortable. The food was really good. The service was great. I really enjoyed my food here. The waitress was very kind. She was very kind to get me a herbal tea bag for my lemon tea. I really needed a hot tea. I was very pleased. The price is understandable and fair. If I remember correctly, it was around $50 for 2 people. I would come again with friends or family.

Located on Live Oak Ave. between 8th and Hempstead Avenues. Small private parking lot behind the restaurant.
We went here during lunch time on a Monday and were seated immediately. The restaurant is on the smaller side but has plenty of seating (booths and tables). There’s also patio/outside seating.
I tried their ‘Chimichanga’ burrito with grilled steak. Food tasted good with fresh ingredients and portions are generous.
Service was amazing. Shout out to our server, ‘Jasmine’ who was extremely attentive and welcoming.
A family having lunch was celebrating a birthday, and the restaurant went above and beyond to make it special. They went to the birthday boy’s table with a sparkler candle on a dessert, singing to him.
Overall, we had a good lunch experience here and will definitely return.

I recently dined at a Mexican restaurant and was impressed by the nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly, although they did make a few mistakes with our order. It happens, but I would recommend double-checking your bill just in case. The restroom was extremely small, making it challenging for more than 2 people to walk in at a time, and there was no changing table for kids.
Now onto the food- the mixed drinks were tasty and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The ranchera meat was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The carnitas were too dry for my liking. I highly recommend trying it if you visit this restaurant. Overall, despite a few minor hiccups, I had a pleasant dining experience and would likely return in the future.

Our dear friends of ours recommended try out the food at Cabrera’s Mexican restaurant in Arcadia. This is our first time at the restaurant our friends told us the food is amazing good and also their alcoholic drinks were awesome they say. We got seated right away and one of waiter hand us the menu and also got our drinks order. We look at the menu and decided to order the two.or three combination plate. My order the two item combinations a taquito and a chili renello and I order the three item plate comes with two hard shell chicken tacos and a chili renello. Then waiter brought us our meal it looks very good then I took some bite of the bean and rice full of flavors in both items the beans have great flavors with cheese amazing and rice season well with spice that make rice full of flavor.
The chile relleno was one of the best chile relleno I ever eaten. Throught years I have tasted many version of chile relleno but this chile relleno have so much flavor in one bite. The hard shell chicken tacos were very good crunchy I enjoy it. My wife enjoy her meal very much. Our waitess was very friendly and also the staff of the restaurant. My husband and I came here for the first time for an early dinner, and we were both very impressed! There was plenty of parking in the back, the staff is SUPER attentive and friendly, their food and drinks are amazing and the music they play…the best! I just wished I lived closer to go more often!

Ordered Mole Enchilada, chicken tacos, fish tacos, and guacamole to share between 4 people, with a lot of food left. They provide free refills on corn chips and salsas, and all of their non-alc drinks. Huge portions and great service, but flavour of food is just ok. Fish tacos were the best out of our selection.
