It’s been many years since I was here last (way before Google reviews) and it was just as good as I remembered! Totally redone and a very nice place to dine. Everything was good, I met here with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. Cream puff is a must and enough for 4 people!! Pictures do not do it justice. The major reason to come back is that the cream puff and prices are very friendly for the quality of the dinners.

Getting seated and waiting to pay was an issue and not busy. In fact had enough time to write this review. Biscuits were obviously microwaved and had cold spots. I don’t know how they poach eggs but it looks unnatural. Now onto the short rib benedict meat: looked and tasted out of a can with open pit bbq sauce. Sausage gravy tasted out of a bag. If it wasn’t my apologies, need a new recipe.

I recently moved into the area and a friend of mine really loves this place. I’d gone here years ago and it just kind of seemed like a worn-out restaurant that time forgot. But now that I lived in the area I figured I would give it another try. I’ve been back a few times and I’ve come to realize something. Every single meal that I’ve had here has been incredible. Great food. They’ve got an amazing selection on their menu. So the reason that I take off Stars mainly is because of the service. There are two servers there who are incredible. They’re on top of things. There’s been one instance where one was running the floor by herself cuz she couldn’t find the other one. She managed to get people their drinks, take their orders, bring out food, bring people out cuz the host had been sent home and she couldn’t find the other girl. The other two I’ve caught multiple multiple times hanging out on that little walkway leading to the kitchen, talking loudly and joking around. They can’t see their tables so they can’t see that. Just about every table they have. Was looking for them to either get a refill on a drink, get a box, get the check or something else. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I get that sometimes all the tables you have have had their food served to them and you may have done all your side work but don’t put yourself in a position where you can’t see the floor. There have been times when I’ve had the two servers that are younger and I’m sitting there for 5-10 minutes waiting for my check only to find out as I walk to the restroom that they’re both standing back there in the corner Joking around loudly like two school girls i mean girls. The girls that work the host table when they’re there are amazing. I’ve spoken to a lot of the employees and I know that the restaurant is on a sojourn in an odyssey to try to bring in younger clientele. As a younger client. Tell myself I can tell you that this is the main problem. Inconsistent service will destroy your business. You need to take two servers aside. Have them Shadow the other two servers and find out what they’re doing differently. Because if they delivered the same level of service that the other two servers delivered, you’d have more people in there. I took a friend there and his major concern was that the restaurant has absolutely no curb appeal. It has a digital sign that’s set a little ways away from the restaurant and only has the restaurants name on it for a short period of time.

First time here.Referred by a nurse at VA since we needed somewhere close to the clinic .Poor service and 1/2 rack ribs were tender but I couldn’t get past the taste of the mound of bbq sauce on them . Most likely won’t be back.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and everything was wonderful. Susan was so accommodating and made the set up so easy and also served us as well along with a other lady, April I believe. They were on point 100%. We had filet mignon and lasagna which were delicious! Thank you for making the night perfect!

So the food here I kind of expected it to be better but for the meal I had it was pretty decent. Unfortunately I must have caught them on a very hot day because it was pretty hot inside they did bring out many fans to help it cool down. I kind of been wanting to go to this place for quite some time so finally getting there and it not be in a certain expectation I had in my mind is very realistic and I will give this place a solid 8.3 out of 10

The outer dining area is beautifully decorated for the holidays. We were escorted to the back dining area which was lacking in charm, but after requesting a seat in the lovely decorated area out front, we were more than satisfied and our service and food were both outstanding. The special of the day was chicken pot pie with a salad and homemade bread. The white French salad dressing was also house made and wonderful. Our meals were delicious! We will definitely go back to this established restaurant. It’s a great value for the dollars spent.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and have been watching it steadily decline. Ordered takeout and what I received was terrible. Look like a child put it together. Everything was an absolute mess slapped together and was not fresh at all. Charged me $4 for fries with a sandwich then gave me 15 fries. Yes you could count them. I called in the next day to speak with the day management and the laddie offered gift certificates to make up for this issue. This manager stated she wanted to mail the certificates to me, so I gave her my address. I never received them certificates. It’s a shame to see this neighborhood staple go down hill. It will be a bigger shame when this place closes as result of this terrible service.
