I ordered the spinach artichoke dip and the pork tenderloin w/house fries. The spinach dip was nice and fresh. It appeared to be house made like I was told. It did come across a little flat in overall flavor but not bad. The chips definitely did not seem fresh fried. They almost seemed like they had been fried once and then dropped a second time right before serving, not very crispy and almost stale texture wise-but not flavor.
The only thing that saved the pork tenderloin was the apricot aioli and quick pickle. It added a little freshness and a pop of flavor. The tenderloin itself was dry and the breading did not adhere or stick like a good tenderloin shouldn’t. It was very thin cut and not tenderized at all and the breading was borderline over cooked and flaked off-not in a good way. The fries with it had good flavor but were soggy.
Would be willing to give another try but would not order the tenderloin again.
Everyone at the table loved their food. Great place to stop at when.
Photos include the poutine, salmon omelette and the rueben. Highly recommend!
Tasted like grandma’s recipe. Even had a bay leaf in it. That good.
Tried the cali beer which almost knocked me out. Must visit if your in town.
The food is great and what you’d expect at a tavern style restaurant. The portions are generous so come hungry or be prepared to share!
I recommend the wings.
I enjoyed the salad but I realized I may have just wanted a steak dinner instead but that was on me.
I only ordered water but there were plenty of beverage options from NA to beer, wine, and cocktails.
