Baku Asian Fusion offers an energetic and exciting dining experience that stands out. While the restaurant is tucked away in a rather generic strip mall, stepping inside, you immediately feel a good vibe, complemented by nice background music—though it was perhaps a little loud for easy conversation. The service throughout the evening was attentive and genuinely good, ensuring we felt well taken care of.
The entire menu is clearly driven by creativity, which was most evident in the unique and excellent cocktails—definitely ask your server for recommendations. This creativity extended to the food presentation; every dish arrived arranged in a really fun and artistic way.
We sampled a few appetizers, including the cangreja peppers and the crispy arepa. The arepa was nice, but we felt the interior avocado filling was slightly bland and could use a flavor boost to match the excitement of the crispy shell. The Hot Devil sushi roll was a definite success—it was flavorful and fun to eat. We also tried the Mongolian bao buns, which were enjoyable, but the beef was unfortunately a little chewy. The highlight of the meal was sharing the Chicken Bao Fajitas, an incredibly unique take on a classic entree, featuring soft bao buns and a very flavorful teriyaki sauce.
Overall, Baku is a vibrant spot with inventive cuisine and excellent service. The slight execution hiccups on a couple of items prevent a perfect score, but the strong presentation, delicious cocktails, and overall unique fusion flavor profile make it a place we highly recommend for a lively and memorable night out.

Baku Asian Fusion Sushi Bar was the perfect lunch spot while my girlfriend was in town for Thanksgiving weekend.

From the moment we arrived, the vibe was gorgeous. The entryway and seating area were so pink and pretty exactly the picture-perfect aesthetic you see in the photos. We arrived a little early, which I loved because the restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet.

I started with a Lychee Martini and all I can say is… it was soooo good! For my appetizer, I had the crab wontons, and they were delicious the sauce on top made them even better. For lunch, I ordered the BBQ ribs with white jasmine rice and sweet plantains. The ribs were cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. The rice was fluffy, and the plantains were sweet just the way I like them.

Our waiter was also extremely kind and patient. He explained the menu clearly and made the experience even better.

Would I return? Absolutely!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Baku is that place — the kind you keep thinking about days later and casually bring up in conversation like, “Oh… have you been there yet?”

Asian fusion done right. Like, nailed it.
We had the branzino (perfectly cooked, light, flavorful, zero notes), the mushroom risotto (rich, cozy, chef’s-kiss comfort), and cocktails that understood the assignment — balanced, creative, and dangerously easy to sip.

The vibe? Elevated but not pretentious.
The food? Thoughtful, bold, and beautifully executed.
The drinks? Absolutely not playing around.

This is a “order multiple dishes, share everything, and stay longer than planned” kind of spot. If you’re in Orlando and you like flavor, atmosphere, and a menu that clearly knows what it’s doing — Baku belongs on your must-try list. ✨ ️

Nicely decorated though…?

What
I got the cangreja pepiada appetizer – this was a crispy arepa with avocado mix crab meat. It was very crispy and nicely plated, I was not a fan of the outer crispy skin but the inside stuffing was pretty good. I also got 2 rolls – Unagi Ebi and Hot Devil. The Hot devil was really good, I like the level of spice that it was, very good kick. The unagi ebi was also very good. Ofcourse I also got a cocktail since they look so nice, and it was indeed nicely decorated. I got the Dios De La Vida – I was a little disappointed as I didn’t taste any of the sake at all, but it was a nice fruit drink.

Environment
This is located off OBT and right by the Florida Mall. There is a decent amount of parking space available outside and also under if needed. But the parking lot can get a little busy. The inside was beautifully decorated. There are a mix of tables and booth seating. There is also a DJ booth, the music was pretty prominent.

Niceness of the staff
Very nice staff….but she was very confused and lost it seems. She had forgotten the order, didn’t get things right. I would’ve appreciated if she asked for clarification if she didn’t understand the order. I ordered Edemame and it was never punched in the system, and I didn’t bother to ask.

Dollar
Quite expensive to me especially when I am disappointed by the service. Each roll was at least $20 and the drink was $16. The cost can quickly add up.

Yes/No
I would not. Could be good if you enjoy a more party-like environment and don’t have preference over the food and service.

Came here for a quick dinner bite with my mom and let me just tell you the fried tempura, eggplant and broccoli were just divine.
We got the garlic roll and the cinnamon roll. Cinnamon roll. Surprise me because I thought they would be more in it, but there was only four pieces. The garlic was really tasty. You could really actually taste the garlic, which is really nice. My mom really like that one with them finished off with some edamame and some really nice fried ice cream to complete the meal. Definitely get the mochi donuts instead they’re huge, but they’re really good.

The food was great; it was hard to navigate the online menu. Perhaps a special dish for the day would have helped or if the waiter explained the menu a bit. I had a hard time knowing which items had a fusion flare as everything is grouped. I did just use the menu from Google and that was easier to read. The espresso and Latte were spot on!!

The place was nicely decorated, and the server was really friendly! The food was good, but the wait time was too long, and the music was too loud that we couldn’t hear each other

It was our first time eating here and this restaurant was wonderful. The service was fast and friendly. Our server Gregori was very nice. The restaurant’s atmosphere was lively and the decorations were pretty. Not to mention, the food was delicious and the Oreo Nutella cheesecake was great. Overall, amazing place and I’d totally recommend to anybody who is planing to come.

Went here with friends for the first time and we will be back! Food was 10/10 delicious and our server Yassel was extremely nice about explaining food and drinks and even served another drink when I spilled mine at the table. The bathroom was also very clean.
