Stopped by here after leaving Memphis on 2/15. We were the second couple at the door right before opening time. Our server greeted us and she was friendly. While collecting our order the manager kept nagging about a certain worker being late and how he was pissed. Unprofessional, take that mess to the back. Our appetizer came out, and it was fine. The main entree was the problem. The loaded mashed potatoes were COLD! My chicken fried chicken was damn near burnt and smelled like old fish grease. Our waitress quickly replaced the mashed potatoes, although the next set was lukewarm. My husband’s green beans were unseasoned and cold as well. Our waitress finally came back after this with the check. She did comp my drink for the disgusting green beans. Definitely won’t return.

I have the hand dipped catfish. It was delicious and the portion size was huge. I think there were a good seven or eight decent-sized pieces on the plate. My wife had a wedge salad that she really enjoyed too. We’ve never eaten at one of these places (we are from out of state) and it was near our hotel while we were visiting. Definitely recommend.

Just, WOW! Excellent steaks, and the sides were good too! This is the fastest appetizer arrival I have ever seen. The waitress, Sunshine, never let my soda run out and never failed to ask if I needed anything anytime she was near by. The ribs were a bit tough, but that sirloin was fork tender and delicious. Two nights and two homeruns!

I did an online order for 2 dinners, 1 sirloin and shrimp, steak medium. The steak was so tough it could hardly be eaten. Also ordered chopped sirloin well done without any onions or bell peppers added. My steak was covered in them.
Now I like cottons alot, and this being first time I did online order, I am very unhappy with my order.

These folks are a disgrace to the company as they do not know how to properly make a steak. My GF ordered a 6 oz sirloin medium well, and it came out almost rare. When we told the waitress, she took it back and im guessing the chef put it in the microwave as it came back almost well done, dry, and tough. Not to mention how cold the restaurant was. I had to complain to my waitress for the manager to turn the heat on. This place reeks of incompetence and warn all who read this to avoid this place!

I went to Coltons for my 50th wedding anniversary, my husband has been sick for over 3 years so he never goes out to eat. It was a big mistake. Order medium steak, was beyond well done and my husband’s was worse. We ate the salad and potatoes which were very good. They precooked our steaks but took so long that we had to take them home. Tonight I thought I would try again, my husband got the catfish which he said was pretty good. I got the chopped steak, ordered medium, it was cooked well, really well. Dry meat for sure my dog enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were good as was the salad. So sad that you spend 38 dollars and the dog eats most of mine. It was take out

Food was delicious. Our server Fantasia was great! She took care of us and was super sweet!! We arrived around 8:30pm on a Friday night. It did appear to be a slow time but the other workers were cleaning up yelling (not arguing, just speaking very loudly) across the room at each other about what needed to be cleaned, did you get my check signed, hey mom grab that wet towel to clean those tables!!!!! Shut the tv’s off!!! Are you ready to go??!! Sweep that area real quick!!! It’s was just very loud and unprofessional. Hard to enjoy a peaceful evening meal. Again, Fantasia was amazing, food was hot and delicious.

My wife and I ordered carry out after a long day on the road. The food was a little late coming out but not a big deal. The country did fried steak was good an by wife’s salad was decent. However, my baked sweet potato was undercooked – crunchy, unbeatable. And my wife’s sweet potato fries were also not acceptable.

First time trying this resturant in Marion and we sat in the bar area so our waitress was the bartender. People you have to know you’ll have to be patient if you choose to sit here especially if there is only one bartender for the night. With that being said she was amazing from her personality to her complete service she did a great job for as busy as she was! I ordered the Blackened Salmon with a raspberry sauce the fish was cooked all the way through but definitely needed the sauce to make the meal! My side I choose the asparagus which was also cooked correct and was good. We ordered the steak tips which were very tender with a sweet potato baked potato all was seasoned very nicely. The fried shrimp was way over battered which completely took away from the shrimp. The chicken fried chicken was pretty good also! All in all I will definitely be back for another bite of something!!

The steaks and sides are pretty much perfect! The ribs were a bit tough, but the sirloin steak was fork tender! Their onion straws were delicious, too. That was night one. Night two was the T-bone steak with corn on the cob, loaded mashed potatoes, and the Texas sized cheese sticks. Superb! Either the waitress or the chef thought I said medium well because the T-bone was a tad overcooked, but still SO delicious. My waitress both nights was Sunshine, and my glass was never empty, and my food arrived before my appetizer was finished! Speaking of appetizers and timing, I didn’t even have to wait 10 between the order going in, and my food hitting the table!
