This is a really nice authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially with kids. They have a variety of options for everyone, but what I recommend is the seafood pho, the grilled beef w grape leaves, and their summer rolls. I also recommend trying the boba shop next door that connects into the restaurant, as the boba they have is really good and they also have a lot of board games and a pac-man arcade game for kids to play and wait as you can see them from your table. Overall this is probably one of my favorite restaurant in Frederick.

I’m always on the lookout for vegetarian-friendly restaurants, and the entire section sounded very encouraging. The servers were friendly, the ambiance is pleasant, and for a relatively busy evening the food was quick. The vegetable pho was absolutely wonderful and packed full of vegetable, and the tofu with vegetables was delicious and similarly well-stocked. I wish I could take this place home with me!

I come here very often, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Very nice bar area. The food is hot and fresh with lots of flavor. My favorite dish is the cubed beef with rice and a Thai tea. You won’t regret coming here.

I hadn’t been here in a while, but a friend suggested we meet there for lunch yesterday and I’m so glad we did. Everything was delicious. We started with the Summer Rolls and Vietnamese Sour Soup, both of which were fantastic. We ordered two entrées to enjoy there and even got another one to take home. The service was excellent, and all the food tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

The food here is so consistent, so good, and such a great value for the money compared to the other options in Frederick. Tonight I had the Singapore noodles with chicken and the crispy spring roles, but all the other dishes I’ve tried are great too including the spicy beef soup and the beef with Thai basil and thick rice noodles. You get great portions and never leave hungry. This is a great place to sit at the bar and have a casual meal but is equally nice to bring friends and family for a full on evening out. And the service is always great!

If you’re looking for the best Vietnamese food in Frederick, MD, look no further than Lucky Corner. This place is truly a gem.
Mr. Pha, the owner, along with his son Hyun the talented chef have been running the restaurant for many years, and their passion shows in every dish. The food is incredibly authentic and, without exaggeration, some of the most delicious Vietnamese cuisine you’ll ever experience.
I have nothing but love and respect for Mr. Pha, Hyun, and the entire Lucky Corner team. It’s my favorite spot in Frederick, and a place I’m genuinely proud to have in our community.
Honestly, I believe Frederick is even more beautiful because Lucky Corner is here. Highly, highly recommended!

If you’re searching for the best pho in Frederick, MD, look no further than Lucky Corner Vietnamese Cuisine. Every visit to this spot is a culinary delight. The pho is absolutely phenomenal—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh herbs that elevate each bite. It’s clear that they put heart and authenticity into every bowl.
The menu offers a great variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes beyond pho as well, and everything I’ve tried has been exceptional. From the crispy spring rolls to the grilled pork vermicelli, each dish bursts with flavor and is beautifully presented.
Service is always warm, attentive, and fast, even when they’re busy. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and inviting—perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners.
Lucky Corner is a gem in Frederick and hands down my go-to spot for Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!

We usually like lucky corner but we won’t be back for a long time, certainly for takeout. I ordered online from their website and was told a 40 minute wait. I showed up on time and had to wait an extra 35 minutes to get my food (hour and 15 total from ordering). The hosts simply shrugged and said the kitchen was backed up. Had I known how long the wait was actually going to be I would not have ordered from them this evening.
Once I got home and we opened the food, I was sorely disappointed. I had ordered the “duck on the corner”. The dish was luke warm and the sauce gloppy (my wife’s dish was quite hot still so it wasn’t a transportation problem). The duck itself was rubbery and had a layer of fat under the soggy coating. It was also small with literally one mushroom. Really disappointing from one of their specialty dishes.
