I am so grateful fine dining has arrived to Miami Lakes with Amazonia Nikkei! At the restaurant I felt like I was getting a Brickell dining experience without all of the traffic!

I want to give a special shoutout to my servers, Matias and Claudia. They were incredibly attentive and asked me good questions to make personal recommendations on what to order. Ironically, I’m not the biggest seafood fan but the chicken and beef dishes that were recommended to me were so gastronomic. I also learned everything is handmade by the restaurant… even their matcha ice cream. You can’t find that type of quality at most places!

Aside from taste, everything arrived in an artful display and the interior was very beautifully designed. I can’t wait to go back!

This is a wonderful Gem found in Miami lakes. They offer a very unique fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, with fresh ingredients that will leave your palate so satisfied.

We went there for my wife’s birthday, parking is a little tight because they’re located in a shopping center that even though has lots of parking it’s packed. Decorated with Christmas lights perfect spot for the family.

Our server was Matias, amazing service and on point with all order and recommendations.

We had:

Gyozas guancaina: we had to order two because the first ones were gone in a minute. Amazing must order

Magurno acevichado: the freshness of the fish was insane. Perfect balance of flavors

Sake chatsune: deliciousness in a roll

For dessert we had profiteroles with matcha icecream. It’s not on the menu but ask for it!

Cocktails were on point. Not your regular cocktail.. very well elaborated.

Music was perfect volume and genre super enjoyable whilendining. Perfect for a date night or a fancy family night. They accommodated with a high chair we had requested and it was ready waiting for us.

We were seated immediately but we had a reservation so notate that

This Peruvian-Japanese restaurant is absolutely outstanding. The fusion of flavors is perfectly balanced, with each dish offering something unique and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in both the ingredients and the presentation.

We had such an amazing night at Amazonia Nikkei! Diego was the one taking care of us, and he truly made the entire experience unforgettable. He knew exactly what to recommend, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down.

The food was exceptional, the ambiance was perfect, and Diego’s service took everything to the next level. We genuinely can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place — and definitely ask for Diego!

This was our first visit. We were celebrating our date-aversary. The food was creative in their fusion, tasty, and with intentinal detail to the presentation. We sampled a few appetizers, a sushi roll, and shared a main course, along with a craft cocktail. The service was impeccable. It was a weeknight, so there were only a few tables, but all the staff appeared super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu when providing recommendations. The atmosphere was beautiful and definitely sets a high end vibe that matches food and service quality. They have a Monday deal for $40 sushi, which sounds like a fun thing to do!

I’ve been to Amazonia Nikkei on various occasions. Its always great! The ambiance is trendy and cozy, the service is fast and friendly, and whether you are having sushi or steak, the food is great!

This time we went for the Monday all you can eat promo. They bring a generous amount of food at a good pace. There is a two hour limit but about an hour in we had to tap out.

They were also able to accommodate my shrimp allergy and served me mostly salmon and tuna dishes while bringing out the shrimp dishes for the rest of those at the table. Amazing service!

Not pictured was the salmon tiradito with passion fruit sauce, and the salmon and shrimp nigiri, furia roll (tempura). The shrimp nigiri is torched tableside, others at the table told me it was delicious.

It was a slow night so the bartender Alejandro took care of us. Honestly with the all you can eat promo this place should be packed every Monday.

*They do require you order a bev with the all you can eat promo, doesn’t have to be alcohol, it can be soda or juice. I guess it’s just a way to pad the bill but still worth it.

The service was outstanding. The servers are very attentive to detail. They give a yummy complimentary welcome drink. And a small sample of a sweet potato with a great sauce. Everything i tried was delicious. My favorite had to be the Agudapu sushi roll and the kushiyaki skewers. The sushi roll was so smooth and flavorful. And honestly their soy sauce must be mixed with something else because it did not have an overload of sodium like other soy sauces do. The restaurant is very clean and the music mixed with the warm lighting created a relaxing ambiance. Can’t wait to come back to try more!

The options were amazing, the concept of ordering different plates and sharing is excellent because everyone gets to try something different, the portions are generous and the food is extremely flavorful, the fusion of Peruvian and Japanese is tastefully done in both food and drink. The torch gives a certain flare and attractiveness to the different plates and crafted cocktails adds to the show and experience. The service is up to par to the experience and Jorge made it a very enjoyable experience. Looking to go back soon to relive the experience and try something different as well.
