Crushed Red? Never heard of it before.
But when I was looking on the map for a good place to eat lunch on our way through KC, I found this place near an iconic steak burger place I was considering and the menu looked much better than steak burgers.
It sure was! Everything was not just good. It was very good. delicious! I would definitely go back.
The menu sufficiently differentiates this place from other places I would place in this category, such as Panera Bread.
So now that I know about this place, If I had to choose between it and Panera, I would go here at least 50% of the time, if not a little more.
It’s also a little more upscale than Panera and had an alcoholic drink selection as well which is nice for those who are looking for that.
Staff was very young, polite, courteous, quick, and professional. No complaints.
Place was very clean.
There was a baby changing station in both the men’s and women’s restroom, which me and my wife appreciated because it allowed us to change both our toddlers diapers at the same time. There were high chairs that made it simple to feed our kids.
I got a 1/2 & 1/2. This Pear is On Fire along with the 4 cheese pizza.
I would defiantly get the salad again, but I wouldn’t get the pizza again. The pizza was really good, but I want to try many of the other options and 4 cheese was a little boring in light of all the other options.
Wife got the Tunapalooza salad. She really liked it and would get it again.
Kids got the special roast beef sandwich with the roasted red pepper with smoked Gouda cheese soup. Both were really good. The soup tasted like a richer and more flavorful tomato soup.

First going to Crushed red. We got cream corn appetizer with some sort of chips. Very small portion for $15. Was very bland. Took it back to try the soup. The mushroom bisque. It tasted like it came out of a can. Will not be going back.

Good afternoon. I Uber and this was one of my pickups. I never expected this place to sell salads. The restaurant is very beautiful and neat. I didn’t get to try anything but I’m pretty sure it was good.

Went for a late lunch and enjoyed a folded flat sandwich and salad and left very satisfied! He ingredients were fresh and tasty. It’s similar in concept to Panera with a little bit of a twist – we will definitely be back to try more!

Apologies to the closing crew a couple of Fridays ago. The sign stating you close an hour earlier during winter is unreadable from outside the door in the dark. Appreciate the service but I have a rule not to visit restaurants within an hour of closing. Had the sign been readable, we’d have gone elsewhere. But your hours on Maps still says 9pm close as of Dec 2.

A wonderful new find. It’s a ‘fast-food’ restaurant that offers designer salads or make your own. Flat bread pizzas or warm ‘sandwiches’. There was no wait we went right through the line. The people we dealt with were all polite. My favorite aspect was the atmosphere. They used cloth napkins, oversized forks in a jar at your table, and varied sized seating. So you could be in a raised booth, a raised table or a traditional square table. Everything about their sustainability model was neat too. Not the cheapest meal out there at $18 for a small salad and one flat bread pizza, but to support something of this caliber, we’ll be back.

I got tired of my usual Panera salads, so I wanted to try this place out. I was going to order to go at first but then I saw how pretty it was inside and decided to snag a booth for two. The salads are a bit pricey but you do get a large portion if you get a regular sized one! If you’re wondering they are bigger than your typical Panera salad. Service was friendly and quick! If you’re trying to eat healthy this is a good starter place to go.
I ordered the Tunapalooza and I asked them to add avocado instead of a hard-boiled egg as a substitute. You get a hefty amount of Tuna, yum!
Also ordered smoky chilli hummus with flatbread and the flatbread was so warm! I’m pretty sure they make the hummus themselves, it had a special kick to it.
They also have different tea options, the vanilla tangerine tea is delicious and you have the option to add orange or lemon slices to your tea!
Will be coming back sometime to try their you pick two deal where you can get a small salad and soup.

I am always open for food suggestions, this restaurant was recommended for their salads by my Husband’s coworker. The salads here are the best in Kansas. Went here for lunch after looking at the menu I was ready to go. I didn’t see anything that I liked. I finally settled for a Sandwich, Hubby got a salad. The cashier & employees were very friendly & patient with me with the different questions I was asking about the menu. The lemonade was very good. If you like upscale salads & sandwiches this restaurant can accommodate that.

Loved this place. Fast service. Friendly. Wine and beer options. Cold inside and I’m not sure how I like the booths/tables. Flatbread pizza delicious (Queen Margherita) and absolutely loved the Chipotle BBQ Chicken bowl thing.

A nice little place that was friendly, clean, and busy. I got a fresh cobb salad and it was pretty good. The goddess dressing was a nice touch. Chicken was a bit dry. Also tried the pick up sticks which was pizza crust stuffed with pizza sauce and cheese and topped with light honey. Those were really good and I highly recommend.
