My family and I ate there just yesterday (09/16/2023) and the hot dogs, the polish sausage, and the pizza puff were delicious. And the food was definitely Chicago style. We can tell you this because we’re from Chicago. Definitely try them out if you’re in the area.

I was excited this is their new building never tried them before….horrible the hot dog was VERY skinny very tiny with horrible cheap relish, then I paid 4.38 looks like something you would buy from a dollar store hot dog. You can get large beef hot dogs from sams that rival this. Taste was ok, I only gave 1 star because it was hot.

Nice spot with parking and picnic tables. First visit…we tried the Chicago dog, classic dog with mustard and onions, and a sauerkraut dog. Service was good but it did take around 15 minutes to get the food. Nice picnic tables with umbrellas to sit at. Chicago dogs were on point. Excellent.
Sauerkraut dog had plenty of kraut and mustard on a kaiser bun. Very good. Classic dog was disappointing. It was on a regular bun, which was hard. Too hard to eat, so we ate the dog and threw the bun away. Considering each dog costs $5-$8, it’s a bit pricey. Will go back for Chicago dogs once in a while but not the dogs on a regular bun. They also have burgers but we did not try them.

We have had their Italian Beef sandwiches and burgers, and they are awesome! I didn’t even know what an Italian Beef was until my husband introduced me to them. The peppers on top are amazing. It’s such a fun and different menu! You will not be dissappointed!

This is a Chicago style hot dog. As another reviewer mentioned it’s not as big as a Sam’s hotdog, and it’s not supposed to be. Sam’s is not a representation of what a Chicago style hotdog is.
Also the “cheap relish” that was mentioned is actually the correct neon green relish that certain other famous Chicago hotdog venders have used for years.
That being said, food was good and exactly what I expected. They have great burgers and other things too.
Their beef sandwiches are usually pretty good too. I mean it’s not a Portillo’s sandwich but about as good as you can get around here.

This is our every Saturday lunch stop. Great dogs and burgers. Our daughter loves the snowcones…blue raspberry to be exact. It’s nice to support our locals trying to make an honest living. Thank you for the opportunity to visit your establishment.
