We ordered one hot dog with mustard, one chili dog, funnel cake fries, slushy, and a milkshake with hot fudge.
The young lady working at 2:35pm today seemed like she hated being there. Hated her job. Hated life. I don’t know what her deal is, but from a customers pov, it wasn’t pleasant. We’ve all had days like that, so who knows if that’s the norm for her or not?
The food came out fast. We went into the dining room to eat. (All the tables were dirty. I noticed the floor was also the same. It was kinda bad tbh.)
The food itself was good. The funnel cake fries were the star of the show. Perfectly cooked/fried and utterly delicious. Those are something you crave AND come back for.
(I honestly make better hot dogs at home though. Just keeping it real…)

Food was great per usual. we got 18 count corn dogs, regular fry, chicken tenders and dippin dots for about $30
The girl at register though was very rude and definition of “gen z stare” when we first walked in. We weren’t greeted or spoken to unless it was “sign this” or giving our total. Everyone has their days, I work in customer service at 5am so I get not being in the best mood but a little conversation seems essential when working in this kind of environment.
Other than that we had a good experience might just go through the drive thru next time.

The sauce is obviously way different than what it use to be this sauce is horrible and I’ve been eating there for over 30 years and the new owner has deviated from the original recipe.

Oh HDH what happened? Your classic dogs with sauce & fries have been replaced with lukewarm warm dogs and canned chili. This place is where I first bit into a coney. I had the best fries. Used to have the special spice for the fries too. No more. But there’s a drive thru now.

I’m giving this 5 stars overall as the woman taking our order was extremely patient with us. Food was delish!! The Mac n cheese dog could have used pepper where the Bahama mama needed some salt and pepper. The onion rings were on point. The mini corn dogs were fantastic. Nothing was greasy, everything cooked appropriately. The pickles tasted watered down. The Dr Pepper tasted slightly syrupy but the lemon lime slush was honestly how all places should make them! Mostly great! Very busy. Great portion sizes. Prices not bad for what you get. Only a picture of the slushy as everything else is gone!

Went to ask for some sugar for my tea. And saw it just behind the counter and went to get a packet and the older gentleman says to me dont ever reach behind the counter. First off there is no sign saying that and 2nd his tone was very rude like he was talking to a misbehaving child. Its not what you say but how you say it. Hot dog heaven do better!

Today it was great. Got a family pack with 8 chili dogs, a mountain of fries and 4 drinks for $29.99 all of us said how good it was. Sadly they aren’t consistent. Sometimes it’s definitely better than others. Today was definitely a stars.
