we traveled here on a friday night, and it was packed! at first, we were offered a seat outside on the patio with the promise of a heater, but it was pretty chilly and no one else was there so we decided we may go somewhere else rather than waiting 30 minutes. our host arranged a table for us upstairs, which was much appreciated. our server was matt, he was excellent from start to finish.
for starters, i tried their cup of chili, and my friend ordered the french onion soup. the chili was good, a little watery and nothing super special, and it came with tortilla chips. my friend loved her french onion soup. for our meals, i ordered the lasagna, and they ordered the chicken parmesan, and the buffalo chicken salad. the lasagna was delicious and huge, it was packed with a ton of meat, onions & peppers, and not much pasta, nor ricotta, but i really preferred it the way they prepared it. the buffalo chicken salad had a peanut sauce dressing, and was delicious, and their chicken parmesan was great. all hearty portions.
for dessert, we tried their strawberry rhubarb pie and the peanut butter cookie skillet. the strawberry rhubarb was great, it is 1/3 of a pie! the peanut butter cookie skillet was also delicious, and came with a huge portion of ice cream.

overall, very homey ambiance downstairs with a slightly elevated vibe upstairs. excellent service provided by matt & our host (didn’t catch her name), and great, completely filling food. i really loved our meals more than i expected, and recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

Place is so beautiful in a side road right next to the railroad. Prices are pretty decent! Claim chowder is really good! Stake is amazing as well over the atmosphere was beautiful. Saw Santa as well for the holidays!

A very nice restaurant in a small town. They have gluten free buns, so they can make all the burgers gluten free for additional charge of $1. They also have a dedicated fryer for fries. The staff were friendly and the setting is quite cozy and pleasant.

Came out of the woods after three days of hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Had the best beef tips, chicken wing and IPA beer. Awesome Service, great hospitality, tatsty food!

Tonight i went with my family of 5 (first time) and it was great! there was entertainment downstairs and upstairs was quiet and nice! the food was EXCELLENT no complaints at all. As well as our server, Carly, she was so sweet and amazing! 10/10 experience.

Did not have a good experience. My husband and I came on a busy night with no reservations. We waited about 5 minutes at the door with a slew of other people and never saw a hostess. So we decided to sit at the bar for food and drinks, all good. I asked for a drink menu and the bartender laughed. I took it to be like “how dare you ask for something complicated on a busy night”. We ordered our drinks and they tasted good so there’s a positive. We did plan to order food but weren’t offered food menus for about 15 minutes despite trying to catch the gentleman’s attention. At that point, we decided not to eat, pay our tab and leave. Other tables seemed to have similar experiences as I saw someone get up from their table to ask for menus after waiting for a while. Seemed like poor planning with staffing as it was a weekend and there was a concert at Mass MOCA. Would not return.

My husband and I were in the area visiting Mass Moca – this place was nearby and the food photos looked great to us!
The outside and inside were so cute, very charming and just so welcoming. The inside had a fireplace going, cute decor and overall just great atmosphere!
The food was fabulous! The onion rings were perfect and their homemade ranch was delicious! I wish we were close to frequent here more often!
If were ever in the area again, were totally stopping by! Food was great, staff was friendly. Nothing at all we can find to change!

I’ve been there twice now with the same result. The burger both times bacon cheeseburger was out of this world amazing! So the question is how can you have such an amazing burger with fries are so horrible. The fries might be the worst I’ve ever had. That all being said I’ll definitely be coming back.

Stopped in at Freight Yard Pub for a bite and it turned out real good. Food came out hot, portions were plenty, and everything had good flavor, not bland. The place has a relaxed feel to it, and the staff was friendly and checked on us a couple times. I’d be glad to eat here again next time I’m in the area.
