New Orleans Sandwich Company

  4.7 – 1,281 reviews   • Cajun restaurant

New Orleans Sandwich Company serves up an eclectic array of dishes that are as classic Cajun and Creole as it gets, along with some other favorites that are given a flavor upgrade courtesy of famous Louisiana spices and seasonings. Their sandwiches are obviously the focal point here, and they offer all of the classic New Orleans fillings on traditional, “po-boy” style french bread, lightly dressed in the normal style with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. The seafood selections such as fried oysters and shrimp are obviously classics on the Gulf coast, but don’t ignore the savory roast beef sandwich served with a rich gravy. It’s a favorite among those in the know.

Warm, family-run eatery serving gumbo, po’ boys & other Cajun classics in casual surroundings.

Anytime I dont see a line here I am completely shocked. It’s cold out so I come in for crawfish ettouffee which was not disappointing with all the crawfish. The Voodoo rings are the best onion rings. My Shrimp PoBoy on the French was full of flavors. This place has the right idea. Do not miss out. I also had try the gumbo and it is amazing as well.

Amazing! Wonderful! Best Ever! All the words!
From walking in the door, to the service, to the gravy!!!

Bored with the typical grub we decided to drop in a little after 7pm.

The ambiance is amazing. Automatically felt right at home. Fireplace crackling in the center of the dining room. Nothing fancy but yet somehow fancy??!!! I mean food served off paper plates and cups! I knew this place was about the food!

Definitely listen the guy in charge!

We started with crab cakes and a cup of seafood gumbo ( shrimp and crab ) served with buttered bread. ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crab cakes were fried perfectly packed full of crab. Gumbo perfection!
Quality Ingredients!!

I chose the Fat Tuesday Ferdie with roast beef and turkey. The bread, the cheese, the gravy!!!

The gravy is the star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife chose the Shrimp PoBoy. Wonderfully fried shrimp! Nice batter! Amazing flavor!

To the owner, maybe he was the owner?? I know he made the gravy!! Thank you friend! Love you guys!

Sometimes you just need a taste of home! We’re from South Mississippi, and we’re no stranger to gumbo. I was craving some, and this place did not disappoint! It was some of the best seafood gumbo I’ve had in a while. I didn’t even need to add hot sauce. Highly recommend! And it was a huge bowl, too.

Gumbo, Jambalaya, and french bread are outstanding and we live in Greater New Orleans area! The portions were generous, the bowl of gumbo is enough for two servings. The atmosphere was so comfortable with a real home feel. You will be so glad you dined here! I definitely was!

If you’re craving authentic Louisiana flavor in the Smoky Mountains, this place is an absolute must-visit. We were blown away by how incredible the food was especially the gumbo and muffaletta. The gumbo was rich, perfectly seasoned, and tasted like it had been simmering with love all day. The muffaletta was outstanding-fresh bread, generous portions, and that classic olive salad that hits just right.

You can truly tell this is a Louisiana-based restaurant that knows its roots and takes pride in bringing real Cajun and Creole flavors to Gatlinburg. The food felt authentic, comforting, and memorable, exactly what you hope for when trying Southern classics done right.

Fantastic food, great quality, and a wonderful surprise in Gatlinburg. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hidden gem! The best Nola food we’ve had outside of New Orleans. I highly recommend the Gumbo and the crab cake po-boy. The service was top tier, family ran and just good hospitality! Even for some Mardi Gras beads when we left!

Was scrolling around maps for a place to eat and stumbled upon this restaurant. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. I had the Shrimp Poboy and the Red Beans & Rice. It was absolutely amazing and made with love. The customer service was just as good as the food and I felt at home. I highly recommend anyone to visit while in Gatlinburg. I’ll definitely be back!!!

We have been here two year in a row. Last year we just happened on to it. Up until we found this place we had been a little depressed with a lot of the popular food places. We both had po boys that were delicious. The kids were satisfied with the kids menu. The hush puppies were amazing. This year we came back since we remembered having a good time last year. We were not disappointed!!!! Shared a shrimp po boy, had the hush puppies, jambalaya, and a seafood gumbo. All the food was delicious. Services was quick.

Everything was great. Great food(Crawfish étouffée, catfish bites (kids 10 and 13 loved them), and shrimp platter), great service (waitress and manager checked on us often), and the atmosphere is cool. It’s really small and the booths are tight. Went in the off season and it was nice. Couldn’t imagine going in peak season. The kids loved the artwork on the walls.
